think Mizzou worth a play now...now that i thought about it all night i really never liked franklin, kid taking his place can gun it and now we getting crazy value and this still ASU 1st real test...

Mizzou-3 3x (which is pretty big for me)....

i dont have much time bro, gotta get to work...he played in the opener during garbage time and looked good against a trash school 5 for 5 80 yrds with 25 rushing i believe, got in the uga gm for a few plays but cant recall results off top of my head, he is a redshirt freshman with a cannon and lead most the spring practices and 7 on 7 drills while franklin was having shoulder surgery (apparently the one that hurt now),,from all accounts he looked very good during the spring and lots of folks thought he should have been the starter as with mizzou wr corp they would benifit from a strong armed kid like this zipping the ball into them so they can rack up the run after catch yards, and he will do just that in this offense way better than noodle armed franklin imho...al;ways a risk when you got a kid making his 1st big time college start but im still not sold on ASU and i think once this kid settles in the offense will look like a ferrari compared to franklin running it.....

this certainly far from same situation asu was in last week when illini brought in a kid that couldnt throw the ball, yet line is being reflected just the same, ive never been a huge pinkle fan as it just hard for me to love a team that cant line up and pound the rock for a freaking yard when they need it but i guess that just the new world of college fb...this is a serious overreaction when you consider the qb taking franklins place is a much better passer and much more suited for this offense imho...like i said it is his 1st big time col start in a important gm so maybe he cant calm himself down but im willing to lay the wood that he figures it out soon enough to go ham on this asu team that hasnt played anything resembling what they will see in Columbus tonight...

I am truly amazing at NCAA FB. If there's a weirdo outcome I can find it. Looks like VT and Pitt switched uniforms. Back in the day one of shrewdest scams at the greyhound track was, they'd switch the blankets of a favorite with a long shot. Hit a $3 Superfecta once with the correct dogs but the wrong numbers so I lost. Took the tape (absolute proof) to the state and still didn't get paid.

Today has been rough. Close losses on OSU and Gophers TTs. Sparty and Vols can make it right.

think i know what i'm going to play in football today, so will run the numbers on Nats/Braves. my caveat is that i have not been keeping up with bases much and my projections/rankings are out of date, but i can make some educated guesses and run my model.

so far as Cleveland sports fanship, i have both the blessing and the curse of having not been born and raised here. moved to Columbus in 96 after college then to Cleveland in 99. so, i did have the Redskins titles. plus, there's the Ohio State thing, so even my move to Ohio has paid dividends there. that said, i always laugh when i hear someone say "well, that's just life as a fan of [X team], no luck, nothing ever goes our way." yeah, dude, life is real tough as a Jets fan or a Boston or a Chicago or DC sports fan. please. the one city that can say that and i completely accept it is Buffalo. anyone of my generation from Buffalo has true emotional scars. bottom-line: there is no sports town that has eaten more shit than Cleveland. all others step off.

that's why, if this town ever wins a title, i must be here for it.
