Everyone wants that instant gratification.....They drop hundreds on games and lose and cry and I think???? Just go and get yourself an 8 ball, a bottle of jack, some Nuggggggg and be happy....Now Im not into drug scene,(thats a lie ...but Im a functional drunk) but for a lot of these Phucks it might be healthier.........at least maybe they still have money left????? One thing I'm noticing that I did this week (and it was definitely sub-conscious, not like this worked into my thought process) that you may or may not relate to... I make certain picks and shy away from certain picks so as not to embarrass myself since I'm posting so publicly.

In other words, I see a game I like but I figure it will either go my way or look like a terrible pick... Like Buffalo +33.5 today for example. Liked it, but if it lost 59 - 0, I didn't want to look stupid for taking it. So I passed.

Then I take some games that I don't have a GREAT lean on just because I think it is safe. The Cinci UNDER was one of these picks. I didn't love it but I figured my logic was so strong that if it lost I wouldn't look too bad.

Not sure if this makes sense... but when I read your post saying you let people down, I got to thinking maybe you are dealing with this too; trying too hard to appease your readers.

Fvck it! Focus on the games and do things your way. If they win they win, if they lose they lose, but they will be your picks unaffected by anything outside of your analysis, as they should be.

Oh, and if you are already doing this, ignore this message. Just trying to help

Pags, keep your chin up. Should have had a better day. You were on the right side of most your bets. Tennessee should have covered if it wasn't for them not converting their chances and leaving so many damn points on the field. You were also right on with San Jose State too, if it wasn't for that meaningless Stanford TD in garbage time at the end of the game. Had those 2 gone your way, we would be 4-3 and up for the day.

No need to apologize, it's only one week, many weeks left in the season. I'm sure you'll bounce back next week.
