#38Bowl plays will start being released tonight or first thing in the morning. I have hit 60% ATS with bowls, but 2 seasons ago I had a miraculous 13-1 ATS run. But, PLEASE do not expect that this year. 60% ATS is nearly always my goal. ThanksComment -

#41First 5* Bowl game release is on Utah State Saturday.
Utah State can bet bet a pick -120 at Sportsinteraction. I believe you will see other books follow suit and move the line to pick-em as the afternoon wears on. Research is posted on the site. ThanksComment -

#42Hi John, This is one of my few posts in the forum. I was wondering why your selection is Utah St. Just curious. I've been looking at lines for the past two years and have believed that if the line drops then go with the dog unless the public is dropping the line. I haven't been able to get a good feel on whether or not the public is dropping the line or if the 'sharps' are influencing the line. thanks in advanceComment -

#43GA Southern/NDSU OVER 51...fast track indoors. NDSU hasnt seen the triple option this year and GSU will not be able to stop NDSU offense consistently.Comment -

#45Triple option is hard to defend if you have never seen it. G-tech is successful simply because of that fact.. It is not till later in the year when coaches have enough film and are able to teach defending the option that Tech begins to struggle. I like your thoughtsComment -

#47OK. for the bowl game tonight. Take Florida International minus the four points as a 5* graded play. I see FI controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and and will have a significant advantage in time of possession. This is just supporting the play produced by the sim. Marshall is just 4-16 ATS in road games after a game where they forced three or more turnovers since 1992. Yes, every year there is significant turnover in College Football, but this sort of turnover trend applies to all teams. It just seems there is a strong propensity for a reversal of fortune for teams that had a big day forcing turnovers in their last game. Again, we are making this play because fo the sim and the angle only serves to support the sim. Got it? Good.Comment -

#505* 'UNDER' TCU/LA-Tech in in the Poinsettia Bowl
Louisiana Tech has been stout against the run and is capable of slowing TCU's ground game. It starts up front, where 340-pound NT Justin Ellis is a space-eater who can occupy multiple blockers while LBs Adrian Cole and Jay Dudley locate and fly to the football. Even the defensive backs mix it up in run support and tackle well. And don't expect the Bulldogs to wear down, even though Horned Frogs RBs Ed Wesley, Matthew Tucker and Waymon James are all productive. That trio will split carries and keep one another fresh, but Tech defensive coordinator Tommy Spangler will counter by rotating defensive linemen in and out of the game.
more research in my article on the site.
I also think doing a 2* money line play taking Louisiana Tech is very attractive.Comment -

#54In his article he posted 55.5, mine is down to 54.5. He was hoping that the "public" would drive it up to 56, clearly that hasn't happened.Comment -

#61Tonight's game (TCU/Louisiana State) sliced on point. You want the game to be close the whole time , cause if it covers easily, one wishes they might have touched the game harder and considered it a more solid play. But in the end if you come out victoriously, its never unfavorable.
Thanks again, John. I know nothing about some of the smaller conference teams but your analysis once again proves that a handicapping database holds water and is more favorable than a "gut" feeling. Just wish I had as much knowledge as you.Comment -
