10/13 UCF vs. Marshall Plays!
Tonight we have Central Florida vs. Marshall. Two teams going in the opposite direction, and Marshall in desperation mode as they are clinging on to their bowl season life. They lose this game and it will pretty much write off any chance of a bowl game for them. They are at home where they are a better team, and the starting running back for UCF is doubtful and most likely won't play. Roughly 80% of the action is on UCF to cover the number, and I refuse to be part of that 80%!
What can I really say about Marshall here. They have had a bad year besides the game against WV. They are 1-4 on the year and 1-4 ATS. Central Florida is 3-2 on the year and 4-1 ATS. On paper, UCF is the better team, they have the edge in every aspect of this game. HOWEVER, I believe Marshall is better at home than most think. They have had 3 road games this year, which were all losing efforts, but they had to play to the likes of Ohio State and S. Miss. They beat Ohio at home and gave W. Virginia all they can handle, but came up short. Tonight, it's do or die for this team, if they lose this game they have no shot at a bowl game. Do you know Marshall has not beaten UCF since October 30th, 2004! Can someone please explain to me why such a short line then? I think it's the books taken a stand and telling us Marshall is going to give UCF a game tonight. I also found some interesting angles that definitely support my play on the Herd tonight.
