Oregon got abused in last years Rose Bowl. How do I know? Cause I bet on the sh*tty Ducks. But they are a little better this year I must say. Then again so is OSU. There is NO substitute for defense in a title game, and the Buckeyes have it. And I hate OSU.

I'll say it again!! There are at least four defenses better than OSU: Iowa, TCU, Nebraska and Alabama. I would love to see OSU go into Norman, Oklahoma next week and get treated like a FCS school. But I'll have to bide my time.

I will say this: I am sick and damn TIRED of having the BCS games RUINED by some slow-ass midwest Big 10 team who was over-ranked throughout the whole year. It ruins one of the top five days of the year! But I suspect that we are headed exactly toward that result with an OSU against a faster, more potent SEC or BCS-buster team like TCU or Boise.

I might agree that OSU might not be the best team in college football but to that Boise or TCU should be up there is quiteridiculous in my mind. I think they get way more credit than they deserve The system is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but if anyone thinks that Boise or TCU could play in the SEC and run the table they are sadly mistaken. Its alot easier for these teams to show up for one bowl game, play great and the country thinks they our bowl busters. When you have to play one ranked team the entire year and you are double digit chalks all year, most of the time by over twenty it is a hell of alot easier than what any of the teams in the SEC has to go through. I will argue with anyone that health is a huge factor in football. probably more than any other sport and its just very tough to compare these teams after a long gruling year. I dont even think that TCU or Boise could make it through the Big Ten without a blemish. The week after week grind would get anyone.

It would be poetic justice for this OUTRAGE to college football fanatics. I'll be rooting hard for Wisconsin, although I won't be watching it because I have better things to do than watch the Big 10. I'd rather watch the WAC and this is an HONEST STATEMENT.

Machine I usually agree with you on alot of your picks in games but LSU at number three????? I dont know how you put a team in the top five that has no offense all year, barely gets by Tenn on a fluke call, and really almost lost to a UNC team that had half of there team not there on a national stage when they should have dominated but didn't. Yes I think that going into the swamp is a big win but Florida certainly is not what they used to be. They will end up in top twenty-five by the end of the year but that is about it. Where is OHio State?? admit they might not be the best but they are atleast they are a top ten team right now.
