Points off the board? They didnt. They probably felt the kicker was out of range. He even said in his post game press conference that it would be pushing Shellys limit. Saban gets paid very well to do what he does so I am not sure you can argue with what decisions he makes. He has a very proven track record. To call him a moron is moronic.

I dont know. Do you have a crystal ball? That wasnt the argument. The argument is you said that Carroll was in a different class than Saban. I disagree and anyone with a brain would disagree. Did Saban make the best move at the time in the game? I dont know who I am or you are to question someone with his expierence. He is a coach and a leader and sometimes you have to make unpopular decisions. That is on him and he took the blame. As for Saban being a moron and in a lesser class than Carroll I think that is moronic just to insist such a thing. I know this.

As for playing for the natl title I still like to think we have a decent shot. It will take some other teams losing but outside of last year how many times did the title game feature a team with one or even 2 losses? If Bama does what it needs to do and wins out in the conference then yes I like our chances to repeat.

Oregon is stop unbeatable and neither is Ohio State.

Wow you and I think alike, was saying the same thing earlier in the season, this guy holds the ball so long as if he has nothing to worry about and takes sacks or scrambles and doesnt throw the ball away. Bama has had a tradition of not having A+ quarterbacks, they keep quarterbacks who can manage a game and basically not lose a game for you. Id take Barker, Zow, and Watts over McElroy, the only quarterback I wouldnt take over McElroy is probably Freddie Kitchens.

I agree Gmac has played to the best of HIS ability and it is not A+ but I think we raise the bar next year with AJ.....I feel he will be the first A+ QB, a real game changer, Bama has ever had.
