call me crazy but i dont think smu is any good maybe they were just looking ahead to tcu but i watched the washington state game and they were just making mistakes left and right....do that against tcu and its blowout city. They looked ok against tech but the offense was not clicking. I say they get beat by 21.

I'm on SMU here. Home dog at night in football this year has done very well. With some exceptions like Pitt last night.

I just like the prospect of June Jones and his team playing at home on Friday night. We'll see if I'm right!

I can't even convince myself to take TCU moneyline. They looked too vulnerable vs. Oregon State. As for the over, why do I have the feeling that June Jones is somehow going to come out and start running the ball to deny Dalton the chance to score.

Patterson is a little pissed right now about this game. We all know football is a religion in Texas, from all levels, and HS football is as important as the fukin Cowboys. Friday night is for the Kids to shine, its for HS football. NCAA, ESPN, & SMU have all pushed TCU to play SMU in this game on a Friday night. Patterson isnt all that happy about it, but he said "We'll give 'em a game!"

Has anyone watched smu play this year? The O has been erratic at best and I cant see the D holding TCU. Unless you are counting on a TCU letdown this one gets ugly. TCU 45 SMU 10

Teased TCU and the over... safest play I think as TCU might put up enough points to cover the line at 49 and if they do that obviously they will cover the spread of -11 as well... Looking at a 45-17 type win for TCU in my opinion

TCU by 3 TD's at least. SMU only beat Washington State (who is absolutely terrible) by a score of 35 - 21. I realize it is hard to compare two totally different teams like TCU and Washington State......but let's be serious here. WSU struggled to beat Montana State two weeks ago and gave up 65 to Oklahoma State in the opener.

That's not a bad bet. But also teasing it TCU -10 and Over 47 would be a good one also.

SMU isn't that bad, and they are at home. SMU can pass the ball pretty well. Could make a high scoring game if they get a couple nice drives.

i disagree i dont think smu is all that good and they really have not been throwing the ball all that well this year, i think dalton has been throwing the rock better than padron (sp) this year. padron has been getting knocked around also. but who knows smu could play out of their minds this game and cover, i dont think so but who knows

tough call on the game tonight as far as a side, I say maybe SMU 1st half +10.5 and maybe the under. TCU runs a 4-2-5 defense which is built to handle an offense like SMU's and Jone's knows this so the importance of establishing the run. TCU will be in the Cover 2 and Cover 5 the majority of the time which means that SMU will go to the ground more than they usually do. Their running back Zach Line, is tailor made for slowing down the pace of the game. The converted linebacker is grinder and is more of a Tim Riggins type, than Smash Williams.

3 touches is fine with me as it would still be within my 24 points! but i just dont see a 5 td win like was mentioned above.

I have the same thought you do. TCU and BOISE STATE not only need to win each week..... they really need to COVER. A 3 point win could really hurt these teams since their strength of schedule is not that good.

Boise State scares me a bit this week but I love TCU
