VT is good n' all, but in college football motivation has a lot to do with how teams perform. Not saying that VT is not motivated, but Boise St has proven time and time again that it's a serious team!

anyway, i'm fading VT for a small wager since its the first week of the season. we all know Boise rocks, but how good is VT? we will see if they deserve their # 10 ranking

very tough game to cap, VT replacing a lot of starters on defense but i dont ever recall Beamer not having defensive talent to spare so while they may be inexperienced i have no doubt they are some freakish athletes...also think Boise D does not get enough love as they are a tough group but seriously undersized to be playing a power fb team like tech, if anything i think we will not be seeing as many points as expected..far as a side honestly to me its anyone's guess..may just sit this one out and enjoy it as i had a very good weekend and would hate to give any back on a game im just not sure about..would love to see VT win but as always i have fear and respect for boise.....GL everyone whatever you decide.....

This game is one that I don't want to touch. History and stats show that VT will win but I think Boise State has the all around better team this year. Most pro's give a 3 point cushion for home field advantage which this is for the most part for VT. I think this one is too hard to cap. I do believe that these teams will not score over 51 points though. VT's defensive coaching is too good to allow a shootout. Only play I see that is foreseeable is the under.

All I know is I'm excited as hell to watch this game. Maybe its just because Im a VT homer somewhat, but this game will have a national championship type atmosphere

I am not mad, just saying that Boise doesn't play a good schedule. I personally don't believe they should ever make it to the NC game with the current schedule they play. It isn't fair to teams like Alabama, Ohio St, Florida, Oklahoma, etc who have to play a hard schedule.

Have you seen Boise's schedule? Aside from VA Tech and OSU it's a cupcake schedule. How can you even compare their schedule to that of the SEC, ACC, BIG 12, etc...?

If "we" (Florida State) had a schedule like this we would be national champs every year.

In my humble opinion, Boise will get exposed tonight and it will finally quiet the crowd. Kellen Moore is a fine QB, but the 80K+ Hokies will be in his head all night making it difficult.

They've played Oregon and Virginia Tech out of conference 2 consecutive years. Give them credit for that. I just think VT has too much for Boise in this game and I think people are giving Kellen Moore way too much praise, but we must wait to see.

Nonetheless, Boise State is a good team with a talented QB, but if you think they could survive in the converences I mentioned above you are seriously mistaken. They're good, but not good enough to play with the "big boys" every single week like we do throughout the season. Take a look at FSU's schedule this year, do you think Boise State really wants a schedule like this each year? Of course not!
