I think there may be something to this. Its been brewing and bubbling for a while. This might just be what both need.

If you want a coach to control the thug and drug culture of Tennessee football Mike Leach is the perfect candidate. Have you ever seen a Texas Tech player during his tenure to get arrested for being a thug?
hmmmm...not sure about Leach but a good fit for him nonetheless...

He would keep the thugs under control. He would just put up a metal shack behind the fieldhouse.

What about Leavitt....I think he might be an attractive coach for that job too. Knows how to recruit against the big boys being that he was in Florida.

I agree with Muschamp going. Fits the SEC better than Leach. Leach & his offense are over-rated. I don't think that style would do well in the SEC. The SEC defenses are fast enough & talented enough to stop that gimmick offense. His style of play belongs in the Big 12 where they just sling the ball & don't play D. Trust me I hate the SEC but he would probably beat the average to shit teams every year & never win against the big boys just like he did at Tech.

Leach is probably going to step sideways at best. Tenn is a big time program.

Knoxville is a little different than lubbock.
Muschamp or mullen. More likely dan mullen.

I think that TEXAS should try and pick up Mike Leach as an OC. I have been in Lubbock for all of the reign of the pirate and he is an awesome coach and one of the very few that Mack Brown fears and respects at the same time. So in a nut shell I would giggle like a little school girl if they hired him. Plus I mean it would give him an opp to come back here to lubbock in 2010 to kill the raiders like they have it coming. Tuber is an awesome defensive coach but with no offense you can not win a game. So to end this little rant HOOK EM HORNS and hopefully we will welcome Leach.

I dont think there is any way Leach is the new coach.
Kiffin was ahead of Leach last year on UT's board...

You need to be a defensive coach to coach in the SEC. Muschamp would be perfect and mac brown isnt stepping down for at least a few years. Muschamp should get in the SEC while he can. **** the weak12

Must be nice to kick a 2.35 million dollar/yr job to the curb for a "better job"
Good luck to Kiffin at USC and this is coming from a TN fan, TN will never be a dominating football team bc it recruits from a state 2/3 the population of just the county of Los Angeles but it is still a great football team having won the nat champ undefeated in 98'

Bob Davies must have some tranny pics of Mack Brown. Think about it, all those years at Texas, a National Championship and NO ONE has offered him a HC gig. Our defensive coordinator gets a HC job every couple of years.

I just heard Tennessee is reaching out to Phillip Fullmer to see if he's got any interest in coming back. Wouldn't that be something.

It's not for the Head Coaching Job. That would be a fukkin nightmare. The trustees are the ones talking to him. Some of them have grown a little weary of Hamilton as AD. If Hamilton can't come up with a good coach then he'll get the axe.

He would do very well in Tenn. The Raiders were insane for their choice. Kiffen is a big baby anyhow, USC going no where next year

Hopefully Muschamp comes to TN though he is already promised the highest paying HC job in college football when Brown retires but who knows when that will be so perhaps its time he lightens his shade of orange and he'll still be coachin UT
