Meat I looked for that information about coaches in bowl games. I located coaches overall rankings as winningest current coaches and stuff but I couldn't get a search narrowed down to just the bowls. I could do it individually but that is just more work than I am really wanting to do. I've already wasted about 65 hours of City work time doing the games. Our tax payers might frown on anymore of their tax dollars being spent on me doing capping for the bowl games.

You have a nice mix of both Favs & Dogs chosen, which is exactly the way it usually works out. Here is one of my own observations: when one team loses their last game of the season and they are facing a team who won their last game prior to the bowl game. There seems to be a different motivation in preparing for the game and the losing team seems to come into the game much hungrier. There are several match-ups with this scenerio, but consider these 4 games:
Fla.ST > Wisc (seminole speed too much for Huge Badgers)
Ore.ST> Pitt (pac 10 vs big Least- enough said)
Alab.> Utah (Saban spanks em, ala Ga-Hawaii)
W.Mich> Rice (approx. 90% of the public is on Rice)

I agree with you MeatMan. I think you might be right with Western Michigan. They were one of my favorite teams this season from a betting perspective. I was bummed due to my program and other stuff I wasn't able to make them a play but I had to stick with what worked for the most part this season.

It's easy to say after the fact but had this been regular season the South Florida and Fresno St games would not have been plays. Still even though it's a slow start it's still a proffitable day.

Thanks guru, Sportnut and Mister, the write-up stuff was alot of work and all but it's just a bunch of words on a screen when the games go like the Troy and TCU games.

Hoping things turn upward the next couple of games or I'll be heading into the new year in the red.

I knew it wasn't gonna be easy trying to cap and play every bowl game. Too many variables and too many different styles of match-ups. Having a rough run through the first third.

5-6-1 on the bowl game so far.

I got the win because I got it early and the extra half point paid off. Hats off to Rutgers but they can be very thankfull for the injury to Russell Wilson and the wasted three poccessions with Beck under center.

Messed up what would have been a good day by trying to do something I know I am no good at. Should have left the total alone.

1-2 yesterday and without a miracle 0-4-1 today all but makes it pretty definate that I should have left the majority of the bowls alone. I will certainly be making some additional wagers on a couple of key games down the stretch.

I knew coming in this would be very difficult to do. trying to pick every bowl game against the spread is a daunting task for even seasoned vetrans. I'm neither a vetran nor very seasoned obviously. I am very happy about the Ole' miss game but equally disappointed with the Alabama result.

I do not think for a second that I am smarter than other cappers on this forum. I certainly am not nearly as good of a capper as some that are on the other side of this play. I am confident in the work I have put into this play though. I have gone back over it from every possible angle imaginable. Ohio States recent play in bowl games is a serious concern as is the potential let down for Texas to be playing tonight instead of Thursday. I made my wager at -9 already but I have to add on if I plan on getting out of my bowl hole by the end of the National Title game.

That truly sucked. Texas had the talent they had the defense and everything showed everytime they ran the hurry-up style offense but in the end I suck.

Overall I had a bad bowl record but due to the Gators I will show a profit in the end. Plus a nice little National Title to boot.
