Yeah, kinda vague, sorry. Lots of loud people in loud shirts. May have been in there at the same time but no, I'm not a pro (though I like to think I did pretty well...lol)

#75Buy the book THE AMERICAN CASINO GUIDE!!
This comes so highly recommended by me that you shoud go order this book right now!!!
You will not only recieve hundreds of dollars in coupons for less then the $17 price of the book, but also have a handy reference for every casino in the USA and also have some nice writeups by professional players.........I have actually been mentioned in the book a couple times.
This book is worth its weight in gold and more!
Another thing you may want to do if you are a frequent visitor to Biloxi, Tunica, and Indiana casinos is sign up for the COMPS CLUB by Southern Gaming magaizine for a mere $29..........you will prosper from this also.
GL,
FH
Have you tried to play a matchplay coupon these days? Not nearly worth the hassle. They look at you like you're trying to rob the joint. Problem with a lot of things you say is it's very old news. The game is much tougher now.bird bird da bird's da wordComment -

#76I gambled like an Asian with a week to live and I think they comp'd my inroom snack bar purchases. I dont even give my players card out on a table anymore, its not worth the trouble. Getting cheap has hurt vegas. The suits thought when times were good they could widdle those down to nothing. But good times never last and all the great comps and stacks of match chips and free prime rib are all but gone for the normal non-slot guy. Too bad, they chopped a leg off the golden goose.bird bird da bird's da wordComment -

Not true at all, I played many just a few months ago..........NO PROBLEM AT ALL!!
By the way, much of the stuff I mention on this forum is OLD NEWS for posters such as you that are a veteran and savvy gambler.............but at SBR we have many individuals just entering their gambling careers, especially when it comes to casinos.
Would I post this info at some other "professional sites"?......no. However, this is SBR and I like to help posters as much as possible......Comment -

All my life I've been very PRO PLAYER and like to help as many as I can..................many times it will appear to be something it is not because of the why I write(terrible writer)..........and many times it will appear that I'm being boastful or bragging on certain topics which is certainly not me if you know me but at times in a forum setting I will try to make my points come across more soundly and in doing so will appear that I'm schilling, boasting, or bragging.
I enjoy helping others, and on many occasssions do so out of the public spotlight(PM's, emails, cellphone).
I have NO AFFILATION with any website, books, mags, ads, etc., etc., .........at this time. This is not to say I have not in the past or could in the future.
Gambling on the front lines and in the trenches will always be my #1 passion and where my energy and time will be driven careerwise...............second will be simply helping others prosper in this tough business

For those that don't know Dante, well your better off, ....................but he is one of the top ten individuals that I have met through these forums that has become a true friend of mine....and I've met hundreds of friends in 10+ years around the forums, guys and gals that would help anyway if possible.
Kind of what these forums should be instead of the way to many cynical people that clog these forums from time to time.Comment -

#86Fishhead...Thank you for all this information.
I have a question: One time I was playing blackjack at The Palazzo, and I was asked to see my ID, "too see if I was 21"; I was 28 at that time. Only time I have been asked for ID when gambling since I was 23/24. The pit boss asked for it, but then she took it to the computer in the middle of the pit and started entering in some information. 3 or 4 minutes later I got my ID back. She said nothing, but "here you go" when she gave it back to me.
Can you explain what she was doing with my ID?Comment -

If you live in Vegas or visit there often, you will soon find out who the real deals are in whatever gambling venture you are doing.
Let's use video poker as an example........
If one begins to pursue this somewhat heavily, you will eventually meet another semi-pro or real pro and perhaps become friends with them........which will lead you to meeting others in the business. Most people though will not pursue VP as their game of choice though.................but this works with other gamling ventures also.
You can and have met(me for one) right here on this forum or other popular forums...............after that is up to you the individual to determine if you want to have open ears, ignore, or bash them.
If you use the open ears approach, your gambling will improve tremendously..............all the GREAT PROS were great learners and listeners in their neophite beginnings.Comment -
