Someone explain to me why tavares is a good bet?

Hard fight to breakdown for me, but two of my buddies are playing tavares and they're usually right so I'm curious... He keeps dropping and I'm tempted to play him, I would like some more action if I win my rda play. Maldonado now going back up in price and I'm still somewhat scared from the igor love, so starting to look towards tavares as more action if I win the rda play, or perhaps half line on marcus lev... Love jaboiun but WAY overvalued, -260 is crazy imo... Assuming I do take some more action, you all like Tavares or Levessuer more? (I realize the line on marcus is no longer dog odds and around -140, but I'm still interested..).

Keeping it simple tonight. Might go degenerate and add a play if rda comes through (prob play on marcus L, tavares, maldonado, just can't decide).

Really hope rda gets the W, I'm pretty confident in this play but I felt the exact same way on palhares the other weekend haha so perhaps that's not saying much (but then again that's the only time I can think of a fight I lost where I bet a fighter SU for over 500 bucks). If rda does lose, my potential summer betting will prob be over

Unfortunately I mismanaged my personal finances over the last couple months and had to tap into my bettign bankroll. When I lost last weekend it couldn't have come at a worse time! Prior to a couple months ago my bet roll was prob 4.5/5k, but it was only about 1.8k going into ufc on fox3 because I kept tappiong into it for my personal finances, therefore that thousand+ loss really hurt my wad and was horrible timing. RDA needs to make it happen or else I'm done for the time being. Bad personal management and bankroll management as of late by me, hopefully I can get back on track!!!!

Can anyone provide thoughts on prater/grant? I understand that grant should win, but -410, really? Grant's strength is on the mat which is exactly where praters is as well. Prater has respectable jui-jitzu and could submit grant maybe? Neither fighters have very good striking. Why is grant this much of a favorite?

I think Grant's striking is pretty good...got dangerous knees...he's come the closest to finishing Hendricks, broke Big Rig's nose in first round of their fight

Yeah his odds have got a bit silly now...Prater isnt a can! I do think Grant could finish Prater early standing with a knee or something...or it will be a mixture of ground and stand-up like the Roller fight with Grant coming out on top with a late finish or decision

I think the difference in this fight will be wrestling where grant carries the upper hand. Grants sub game is solid and I doubt prater will submit grant off his back. As for the striking I don't consider grant to be very good but it is more the fact that prater's standup is awful, so ya I think grant should be able to tag him and move.
