I think Bendo's only chance to win this fight is to wrestlef^ck Edgar.

But if he couldn't do that to Pettis ( who isn't even a wrestler) then can we expect him to do it against Edgar?

There are better plays on this card. Its not worth putting so much on what i consider to be a coin flip. You can claim to have found the stylistic edge that propels bendo over edgar but the fact remains that Edgar presents certain facets of his game that could provide him with his own edge on this matchup

I don't like cocky threads like this, it usually goes against the OP.
When I saw a cocky thread on the NFL of the Patriots winning the SB, in which the Pats lost. Or a cocky thread on this forum of Johnson defeating Belfort, in which Johnson lost.

But I don't think it's too cocky though. I have money on Henderson as well. This fight could end in a draw.

I see this fight with a major question: Can Bendo Clinch Edgar? If so, he will get TDs and take it by Decision, if not, he will lose by decision, simple as that.

Even if he can clinch edgar im not sure he can takedown frankie and if he can id be shocked if he can stop Frankie from getting back up quickly.

But Why was Maynard not able to when he tried? Maynard is a much better wrestler than Bendo.

Paper skills are not everything. I'm not saying they are. While Bendo is a Junior College standout....Frankie was a D-1 standout. Frankie out-wrestled Mayanrd in any wrestling exchanges.

If Bendo does get Frankie down, why does anyone think he can keep him there? Frankie is very good and scrambling and getting back up.

I'm just curious. I give the wrestling edge to Frankie. And I'm really confused as to why everyone thinks Bendo is some elite wrestler who has an obvious advantage in wrestling. I really don't understand it.

Huh? Maynard didn't try to wrestle Frankie in fights 2 & 3. He tried to wrestle him in fight 1, and he won that fight because of his superior wrestling.
