It's hard to take Strikeforce seriously because I feel it is dumbed down MMA. By this I mean for the casual fan, if there isn't a spectacular KO, then it is a boring fight. That is why guys like Lawler, Scott Smith, Hendo, Daley, and Manhoef are stars. These are guys who could not or did not do well against the average to better competition in the UFC. The talent level and mismatches have created some great KOs in Strikeforce but who do they have that can compete with the UFC elites? their elite heavyweight championship is full of average and over the hill fighters like Arlovski, Rogers, Barnett, and Werdum. even Fedor appears to be done and exposed. But if all you want are KOs and mismatches, keep touting Strikeforce. It will always be a second tier organization, because their talent aspires to "make it" to the big leagues, or have found the UFC too tough and and joined Strikeforce after failing in UFC.

Well Hendo didnt get 'cut' from the UFC, first off.

I enjoy both organizations actually. UFC is 10 times better, energy and atmostphere is mainly why. And the talent of course.

I pray every night the winner of Strikeforce's HW grand prix would come over to fight Cain Velasquez.

I understand this whole debate of which is better than the other...but as an MMA fan, I really dont care which is better. More MMA organizations, the better. If I can watch MMA more because there are other organizations (i.e. bellator, shark fights, mfc) fighting for exposure, so be it...I am happy with the extra dose! I won't side with either one, they both put on great shows and that is all I really care about.

They should make it like the AFC and NFC in the NFL. Have a MMA league and let strike force be the AFC and the UFC be the NFC and then have their winners fight for the MMA superbowl!! That could be entertaining! Either way I just love watching guys that could kick my ass go at it regardless of the outcomes. Those dudes are some serious bad asses! I enjoy all aspects of the fight game.
