Pacquiao - Margarito

I think Manny will win...but...I think there's value on Margarito at +600. I'll have a small bet on him, same as if I were playing a NFL underdog at +14 coming off a bye week at home when the other team has a few significant injuries. Don't expect it to win, but value is value.

edit: damn, line down to +370. nevermind, apparently everyone else saw that same value. oh well, ya snooze ya lose.

Boxing is alive and well to me. I don't know why you think boxing and MMA can't both do well? You think it has to be one or the other.

Lets look at it like this. MMA is a mix of many martial arts. Did any of them die when MMA took off? No. Have you seen the amount of MMA fighters that are getting boxing training so they have better stand up? They are helping keep boxing alive.

Boxing won't go anywhere.

The problem with heavyweight boxing in North America is the lack of top US/Canadian heavyweight contenders. They say its because a lot of them are now moving to football and other sports that are paying so well now.

I like over 9.5 rounds. Feel like Manny will dominant the fight but won't be able to get the knock out.

Yeah, they're all playing Defensive End or Tight End somewhere.

If the heavyweight division were better, we'd see more fights in the US. But it's not (at the moment), so we don't.

the problem in NORTH AMERICA is most heavyweights are obese because they eat lots of mcdonalds LMAO, just look at chirs arrealoa for example

This fight goes the distance with margarito getting stronger toward the end of the fight he's hungry and manny isn't so,i'll take the over with margarito hanging in there
and manny wins by dec+280 and i like the under 2.5 knock downs,.the fights before the manny fight , i like the under in the rigondeaux vs cordoba the o/u 11.5 under in that with rigondeaux taking him out!! And the other mike jones and the soto i like the under with mike ripping him up but , the over 8.5 is favored

I took Pacquiao by Decision at +300. Gotta love them odds. Pacquiao by TKO/KO/DQ is -120. I am pretty surprised by this, I would think Pacquiao by Decision is the favorite.
