They could put GSP, but he only fights once a year. Seeing as his fight against Koscheck is in December, it's unlikely we'll see him fight again until at least September next year. As far as Sonnen goes, obviously he's not going to admit taking steroids. How many athletes have admitted taking steroids after getting caught?(not many) Why would an athlete admit to anything they don't have to admit to? Also anyone saying Sonnen's career in politics will be significantly affected by this doesn't follow politics. Politicians lie and steal all the time, but are still re-elected after talking some random BS. People not only buy BS, they make sure they purchase the extended warranty that goes with it. Sonnen was most likely using something. After everything goes down and he gets suspended or takes whatever punishment is given to him, he will be back fighting and most people will never think of this again.

marquart vs silva is not a fight i'm interested in and it seems like a hard sell to fans really. i don't see any areas nate could threaten Anderson. i guess you could say "well if nate gets it to the ground" but anderson already beat the guy who crushed nate earlier(sonnen)---also i really think anderson is the type of guy who will study the tape of his last fight and get even better from it.Comment -

All these guys testing positive and Dana White still insists they have the best drug testing. He thought it was ridiculous for Pacquio to take olympic style blood tests like 1 year ago when the fight could have happened. Problem is at least half of mixed martial artists probably use some type of illegal substance in there careers. If people get caught once, imagine how many times they've escaped the test. It's common knowledge that certain steroids clear your system for a test in 2-3 weeks, but the effects last significantly longer. What if someone gets killed in the octagon and then the other fighter actually tests positive? I guess it's a chance the UFC is willing to take. Dana White's motto is "if you don't get caught using steriods it's okay to use them and if you get caught it's no big deal you'll just get a small suspension and fine". After a positive test and suspension you'll get your job back immediately, but if you punch someone after a fight it's a permanent ban.Comment -

There's a report out there with CA Commission reps confirming it was a natural steroid.
Sucks. I didn't expect much from Sonnen before the fight and he had a great fight. One of the few re-matches I want and he's going to get suspended for a year.

Its not surprising that MMA fighters take something...it's surprising that Sonnen took something after all the shit talking such as sayin Armstrong gave himself cancer because of steroids, and because he made out like he was some honourable Republican! Its obvious that the likes of Carwin and Lesnar have taken roids or something in the past, not so obvious that Sonnen has by looking at him tho.Comment -
Obviously he isnt doing them now. But you only have compare what he looked like in WWE to what he looks like now to tell that he has done roids or growth hormones in the past. Roids were rife in WWE at the start of this decade, hell even Vince McMahon suddenly got absolutely ripped out of nowhere, Benoit and Eddy Guerrero also fell victim to it! Lesnar was arrested back in 2001 for allegedly receiving steroids, turned out they weren't steroids and his defence attorney claimed that they wer actually 'vitamin type things' but I feel that I'd be naive to believe that they were just normal vitamins/supplements. Regardless of whether he has juiced or not, this botched shooting star press that concussed him was legendary! ...

Steroids in pro wrestling were actually much worse in the 80s and 90s.
The government got on Vince pretty hard for some reason, so now they do "random" tests for everyone.
