To give you an idea of the ratio I use, for, lets say, 4 or 5 cups, I'll use about 8 cloves, 1 bay leaf, 8 cardamom pods (cracked), 3 or 4 allspice pods, about 6 fennel seeds, half a star anise, and a few peppercorns.

Personally, I add quite a bit of ginger into this as well, I like the bite it gives it. A lot of recipes will call for a cinnamon stick, but I don't like that. Bring this to a boil, let it simmer for a good 20 minutes before you add your tea to it. Throw in a spoon of honey at the end of the process.

This is traditionally served with warmed whole milk, about a 2:1 ratio of tea:milk, which I do enjoy, but it can just be drank as is. I make a pitcher of this stuff every couple days, I keep it in the fridge, its awesome straight up over ice or over ice with a bit of milk as well.

Perfect, just throw some in at the end of the process. This shits the bomb, and also it leaves your house smelling amazing once the simmering process is done.

I love chai, but you know what's even better? Ethiopian tea. Not sure what exactly the recipe is, lots of sugar, lots of clove, some cinnamon, probably some cardamom. It smells like sex after christmas dinner.

Thats largely what I use for my chai, sans sugar. I posted my chai recipe above.

Honestly, its not really a "traditional" chai, but its what I like. And yes, your house smells fockin amazing after you simmer it.

You're jumping the gun here. I think the phrase "and its relationship with value" obviously highlights what I'm referring to. What are the implied odds of a -400 favourite?

Smashed it with the soccer today boiiiiiiiiis, made at least 550 squid and got a load of parlays going strong that should get me up to at least 750 tomorrow. Means I can relax tonight and wont be too piisssed if Palaszewski, Samman lose, or if Barnatt gets finished.

I've probably got the recipe wrong though, because it doesn't really taste like chai to me. There's similar notes, but the level of clove is off the charts. Your tongue is numb the instant you touch it.

penetrating love Ethiopian food too. If you guys are looking to try a new ethnic food, try it. Avoid the meat dishes, they're not spectacular, the veggie dishes like gomen and firfir are amazing.

the spices are strong, but not always overpowering like i've had in some tamil dishes
just gotta get over the fact that everything is piled out in a huge communal dish, and you just dig in with your hands. Have to not think about the fact that a lot of this stuff probably sits out like that in the kitchen lol

hahaha i used to work in a gym when i was studying in post secondary, whenever fatties asked me which diet would help them lose the most weight, i'd have a very serious look on my face and recommend the Ethiopian Diet

I was obviously referring to the percentage odds which are implied by betting lines. A -400 line implies a winning percentage of 80%.
