BFC Events: +4.25 units
Strikeforce Events: -16.7 units
Other Events: -5.0 units

I think its pretty apparent that I'm a great fade on Strikeforce cards haha. Make sure to check my thread on Oct 9th to see what NOT to bet .

Anyway, I've been meaning to do this for a while and will try and keep it up going forward. Helps me see where I should be focusing my time and units.

So I had some downtime tonight and I figured I should do some record keeping that I've been slacking on. With the year winding down, I thought that i better get it done before the holidays lol. Lets just say that this year hasnt been quite that great, especially in comparison to last.

The post above was from early October of last year. I've bolded and resized something that will prolly look familiar to the results below! When I posted this I was down almost 17 units on Strikeforce. I ended up turning it around a bit and I think I closed that gap down to -8 units by years end...but still, not good. Lets see what this year had in store......

2010 YTD Results: +69.32 units
2011 YTD Results: +29.04 units

So its been a profitable but down year for me. I have bet on less cards this year, so I expected some drop. I usually bet 1-3 units so I can't complain about the results (I've never been a fan of the use of 10-100 unit bets lol..looks silly to me!) but I definitely wanted to do better than I have. But anyway, this is the pattern I was talking about. Last year I finished up 69 units, but I would have finished up 77 units without my Strikeforce results. Well this year it got worse lol. I was -22.65 units on Strikeforce this year! So without Strikeforce I woulda been up around 52 units....So lets recap:

2010:

Strikeforce Results: -8.1 units
All Other MMA (Mostly UFC & WEC): +77.42 units

2011:

Strikeforce Results: -22.648 units
All Other MMA (Mostly UFC): +51.6875 units

Combined:

Strikeforce Results: -30.748 units
All Other MMA (Mostly UFC): +129.1075 units

I find it pretty crazy that I can do well betting on pretty much any promotion but I absolutely fail on Strikeforce. I figure if I would have listened to myself last year and faded all of my Strikeforce picks this year I would finished up around 75 units lmao. Oh well, you live and you learn.

But I guess this was a great time for me to put this together as we have a Strikeforce card this weekend. If you guys are smart you will fade my picks hard...its a cant miss! lol. GL the rest of the year gentlemen!

MMA has been decent for me this year. Thankfully,I've had my best year ever in Boxing. Easily my highest ROI for the year.

Amazing price on that. What book is that at? Bodog? Thats like one of the only books Im not on lol. @ -125, thats a steal. That line should be closer to -185 to -200 IMO.

As for Brock, he looked like a guy who was already counting the mounds of retirement money he collected before the fight even started last night!

I had Stout 29-28 and was a little surprised to hear that ALL of the judges had Tavares but I guess I Shouldnt be when the fight is in Brazil.

Second round was close. I had him marginally edging out the second and easily taking the third. Just looked way too passive out there,even when he had him hurt.
