Who was the grappling coach for Rampage?? The one with the red shirt. I don't think he did a very good job preparing Kimbo for this fight... esp with escapes from bottom since they knew Roy would shoot for the takedown. And when he said something like: you can't do anything wrong from the bottom... ??? That was such bad advice imo.

#38Kimbo did surprisingly well.
Roy Nelson is one of the best fighters in the house, certainly the most experience and somewhat impressive resume.
I starting to like Kimbo...even though I was once a "hater." YOu can't not like the guy...he acknowledges that he has a lot to learn, that he needs to improve in certain areas etc.Comment -

#41"The ratings are in, indicating that 6.1 million viewers actually tuned in at peak time to watch the former International Fight League (IFL) champion score a smothering second round technical knockout over the Miami-based bareknuckle brawler. It was the fourth most-watched mixed martial arts bout ever on television in North America.
In fact, Slice now occupies three of the top five slots, including the top position with his win over James Thompson on CBS under the Elite XC banner back in May 2008 (7.281 million viewers). Of course, last night’s telecast now “ranks as the most-watched episode of an original series in the six-year history” of Spike TV."
Lets see how close Fedor gets on his CBS debut on Nov 7th, i doubt he comes close to 6 millionComment -

#45They will give Beardman a contract, but it would be a joke to watch him fight live fighters. They need to have him fight people who cant fight on the ground (Or dont like too)Shut your mouth when you talk to Me!Comment -

#59wow... last night's episode... another weak fight. how the hell did wes sims lose? nice head/arm choke though. this season has been disappointing overall. call me a hater, but i think people who go on the ultimate fighter should pretty much already be pros or be fighting at pro level.Comment -

In his street brawls, it's 100% boxing; no takedowns, no submissions, no kicks. It's like baseball: if you can hit a fastball, and you know a fastball is coming, you'll have no problem; but as soon as a pitcher adds a curveball, change-up, and slider to his pitch, things get complicated.
I like Kimbo, he's a good guy, and for his sake, I hope that he trains hard and improves his ground game, or at least improves his takedown defence. Right now he's just too one dimensional. Fighters realize that if they neutralize his striking (by taking him down), he's pretty much a fish out of the water.Comment -

#66Question - If a guy on Rampage's team gets injured, why does Kimbo assume he's getting to fill in???
The other black guy on Team Rampage that lost certainly deserves the nod MUCH more over Kimbo.Comment -

I still though wanna see who wins & if the fights get better. O and of course if Kimbo gets to come in and lose againShut your mouth when you talk to Me!Comment
