I don't get why they postpone the start of an event just because there are canceled fights.

Why not just start at the originally scheduled time anyways?

The event will end earlier in the night, but who cares?

Seems like it used to be like that not long ago. Some of the free cards were over at 10. They were just flying through the bouts. Guess they want to stretch them out as long as possible for the sponsors.

I imagine it's because of the TV time slots. Commercials, PPV, etc. With most events anyways.

I agree Digs they should start earlier as scheduled in a perfect world.

Theres supposed to be a fight every 30 min, right?

Or that's how it used to be.

If a fight ends early then theres ton of talking and promos before the next fight.

If a fight goes the distance, then obviously not as much in between.

So you still have enough time to get in the ad revenue if it starts on time or starts later.

Start these things ON TIME, UFC.

There are levels to undefeated fighters though. Some legit prospects but lots of frauds too.

Only with padded records. I agree. UFC is a massive level up in competition. Gotta record cap undefeated fighters for sure when first getting signed with the UFC.

Most UFC undefeated fighters are pretty much proven though especially if they come from a good and proven camp/gym.
