#37Well I wasn't going to lay -300 on Johnson in the first place, but this makes it a serious no-no.Comment -

#38I was thinking about playing yoshida as well, man I can't remember having this much trouble locking up plays for an event, 104 is just not doing it for me betting wise, thinking about just laying the chalk on valezquez, already have a small play locked up on sonnen but dont feel too confident with the playComment -

#39I've been waiting for the Machida fight --I see this fight as extremely lopsided in favor of the dragon. i actually think -450 is cheap for what we will see on SaturdayComment -

#40Shogun's next chance was also a chance to avenge his earlier loss to Mark Coleman. This time UFC fans had a chance to see two well known fighters almost not make it to the end of the fight due to exhaustion. "Fight of the Night" or not, nothing overly impressed me here except the fact that someone actually won before I fell asleep. I was beginning to wonder if Shogun was just collecting the cheques and finishing out a contract before retiring. Then came Liddell. The Iceman was out in the first round due to Shogun's big left hook and a flurry of hammer fists. This was getting back on track, even if it was against a fading Liddell.Comment -

#42Surprised no one mentioned Ben Rothwell. Personally of all the people that are most likely to upset, I'd say it was him.Comment -

#43you guys are crazy if you think Yoshida will beat Johnson. Johnson is a wrestler, they can cut weight at will. He will Tommy Speer Yoshida.Comment -

#45Anthony Johson has an incredible sprawl and can smell take down attempts a mile away.
If Koscheck can KTFO Yoshida...I'm pretty damn sure Anthony Johnson can do the same...
it is also possible that yoshida has learned some stand up...but I seek Johnson getting another highlight reel KO.
But the more and more I think about it...Rothwell might be the underdog I wager on this Saturday....
the man is incredibly strong, has decent stand up...and a good ground game...
the man just might be too big and strong for a smaller, quicker Velasquez.
We all saw the Kongo fight. and I think we can all agree that Kongo had it a better ground game would have won that fight.
I still see Velasquez winning...but Rothwell demonstrated in his fight with AA that he can take an incredibly amount of punishment before losing.Comment -

#51Any one else watch the UFC 104 Countdown show? This shit is ridiculous. I can't believe I watched the whole thing. They make everyone's life so dramatic and talk about shit that has nothing to do with fighting. Oh my God! Rothwell was picked on in grade school and that drove him to be one of the greatest heavyweights ever! Why do I watch this shit??

#52I still didn't see it yet. i love watching the countdowns because you get a glimpse into training camp and the fighters mentality before a fight. It usually is misleading and obviously meant to be, but if you pick up on the right cues you can pick the winners.Comment -
