So the UFC is going to trade Mighty Mouse for Ben Askren?

pretty crazy and surprised it took so long for a thread about this, I read about it earlier this morning.

I guess Mighty Mouse's coach, Matt Hume, serves as ONE's VP of Operations.

very happy Askren will be joining the UFC, it's been a long time coming.

Askren being the 170 lb One FC champion, there's a chance he might be in line for a title shot.

In which case, his first fight could be Ben Askren vs Tyron Woodley. For anyone who knows the implications of that fight, I think they could appreciate why this is up for consideration now.

Otherwise, people seem to avoid fighting Kamaru Usman, Demian Maia and Colby Covington.

Askren could fight one of those 3.

That would be a horrible match-up for Gaethje. It may be far-fetched but how great of a fight would you get with McG vs. Gaethje?
