Hope not. Recent tape looks like Poirier is gonna have a pretty decent speed and volume advantage. Pettis gonna have to step up. He's capable, but not sure if he really has it still. The fight vs. Miller was nice but even there he ate a ton of kicks and Miller landed some left hand counters at times. Poirier has the ability to be much more accurate and active and keep it going.

Cowboy has the same problem then.. Some people just can't take body shots. I've seen it.. You can do a million sit ups and crunches too every day and it won't help.. Just the way your body is...

You also gotta know to tighten up the mid section when taking shots.. Gotta see them coming.. If you're chilling and laxed it can fold you up every time..

Damn. I'm looking at +/- 1u on the night depending on this fight. If Guida and Fortuna had gone differently I'd be looking at +8u worst case. So close. Another night where I hang out around even. I have avoided big losses for a real long time now, but just haven't been able to pull out that big win either.

Agree jibs. Wonder if thats what brown meant when he said i got a lower body ''problem'' if he meant just gettin hit there, or is it deeper. Thats what im wonderin, by what he said.
