Broke my rule. I usually only bet fighters if I have them favored. I didn't have any of these dogs favored (Dy, Asker, Saff, Kim) but thought the lines were too inflated. Figured if I hit one it's pretty close to a wash, and hitting two is a couple units profit. Well... 0-3 right now with only Kim left.

Was all over Russell Doane all week. Shoulda just bet him and called it a day.

My rule is that i never bet on underdogs if they dont have the athletic advantage. In all of those fights the underdog came in with an athletic disadvantage, except DY. But one should never bet a guy like Dy hehe. Not the worst bet considering Cecares has so many weaknesses.

Throwing lots of dog plays out there... if I can go 2-2 on those, that's great. Even if I go 1-3 it's only a very small loss. Risk/reward worth it there for me. Just can't lose em all. I probably would have played a few of these differently with some hedge plays but my book apparently didn't find this card to be interesting enough to have the full range of props. Oh well. Well at least you stuck with your picks and didn't just do a million hedges like lots do here. I respect posters that choose there bet and let's it ride or die.

Same here. Went for the bigger payday by trying to pick o/u's and results rather than the simple "who's going to win?" Tried to be too cute and it cost me this event. On to the next event...

Well I crashed and passed out right before the Holy Holm fight.. I just saw the highlights of the head kick now.

Looking quickly over my 5dimes history now I see I ended up doing pretty good with this event.. I made a decent profit.. Missed a few fights here and there but hit the big ones again... I was never down in this event from the very start... My biggest win came on a simple hedge play last night.. This hedge prop with Sasaki by sub really put me up big and for good with this event....
