Tempted to give Woodley round three. He did almost nothing, but Shields didn't do much more and one big spinning back fist may score more than a few minutes of cage-holding and weak knees. 29-28 Shields at worst I think.

I took off betting for a while, almost funded my account to bet Shields. Damn. 8th grade I remember hearing Kimbo was fighting so I watched that Elite XC card, Shields was the first fight I ever watched and he won so he's one of my favorite fighters even though he's boring as hell.

I agree, I hate that a guy can get a takedown, wind up in guard, do no damage, and get points for just being on top when in actuality it is kind of a neutral position. I just thought that the judges were gonna score for Woodley because of the counter wrassling.

For some reason this win feels better than the average win. Perhaps it was because you just knew shields is going to stink up the place but still get the mandatory decision win. played the over and shields pretty hard
