Yes, they (crypto.com) were the creator of CRO so them holding most of the circulating supply is not uncommon. They've slashed interest yields and cashback rates over the last few months so they are doing what they need to do to stay liquid.

Well, it's not in the ground, yet. Thanks to all the FUD going around, CRO is taking a big hit but if you watched the video I posted, the CEO addressed some of this. He (Marszalek) has encouraged people to remove their funds from the platform if they are fearful. I moved 1 ETH from Crypto.com to my hard wallet last night no problem - took about 10 minutes.

                Can they survive ?
Good question. Much better than declaring them dead in the water because that hasn't happened - yet.... They operate out of Singapore which has stringent regulation - something Binance wanted no part of.... CZ has been in the middle of all of this and some think he's trying to pull off a power play...

I have no idea about FTX. Didn't keep up with them until they crashed.

Guess we'll see, eh? In the meantime, it would be nice if everyone would quit slinging poo-poo at the walls to see what sticks.

enron and worldcom and madoff and the list goes on and on.

it is just a bump in the road.

it will wash out the weak hands from BTC and the strong will remain.

                            Coach
the irony of it all is that Bitcoin was created Not to be regulated.

it would probably have a much higher ceiling if Not regulated, but a much lower floor as well.

i will take the regulation and the steady raise over the years.

I've found that if someone has no skin in the game, their credibility doesn't mean much. One can get better financial advice and perspective from those that do.

Times like these is where it is good to remind people that Bitcoin has died 465 times.

He's in the Bahama's now and probably on his way to another Country that won't extradite him. He's got a billion dollars to sneak himself out the back door and live happily ever after some where on the globe with out being touched unfortunately.

Dems won't protect him because he screwed over so many investors and straight up stole other people's money. I can't see even the Dems in power getting on board with that. Hey, but who knows?

People who are invested in a certain product are unbiased when talking about that product and have the best advice and perspective on it ??????

You can't possibly say this with a straight face. If you're being serious here you've completely jumped the shark

Say, you're looking to get into crypto and you're looking for information.... where do you go?

                                                        jjgold or Anthony Pompliano?

                                                        themike78 or Michael Saylor?

There's a difference between those that understand Bitcoin/crypto and those that don't. We got our share of broken-record doomers here who live for the crypto dips. That's when they come out like little roaches ..... "the sky is falling, the sky is falling"..... lol God gotta love 'em.

One of my favorite podcasters is a metal head (gold/silver) among other things. One of his regular guests is a metal seller. He brings this guy on and they talk crypto. As you can imagine, they spend the whole show dissing crypto. They've been having a field day lately with the crypto setbacks. Neither one "gets it" (podcaster guy maybe a little). In their defense, gold/silver is one of the better investments (although it is a value sloth) out there. So, the "bias" works both ways. I have both.

                                                              Help me understand please?

I use https://bitcoinfees.net to predict how much to pay in miner's fees to send bitcoin (from bitcoin Core wallet). So last 24 hours I can't use my regular tiny fee, because there's a long line of people who also want to be cheap.

And according to this chart below, I have to pay 14x the fee in order to get transaction processed in 6-8 hours instead of waiting 1-2 days?

                                                              Thanks for explanations.

Well, the chart doesn't make sense to me. 36 sats is about ½ a penny and that will take forever. Perhaps I'm reading it wrong. Last transaction I sent cost 1,562 sats which was about 30¢ at the time.

If you've already sent your transaction, your wallet may allow you to bump the price up to speed it up. Seems like there's another way to speed up a transaction but I forget - perhaps someone else will chime in....

Edit: the Bitcoin Fee Calculator at the bottom of the page in your link is better. Says avg. price of transaction is 35¢. That's reasonable. Not sure why they are using a decimal point in their sat fees, though. 2180 sats = .00002180 BTC = 36¢
