your better off investing or gambling on horses $2 a race wtch this say you have $50 to bet horses program cost $9 or $3 for trotters but you bank is $50 for 10 races so you can bet w & P for $2 and $3 on each horse
now say your horse wins are paying 3-1 pays you $8 for win $4.20 place and you won 5 races $12.20 X 5 = $61.00 christ you had fun with maybe your friends for 4 hours laughing when they bet a clunker 6/5 chalk

Buffet obv smart in old school finance, but surely he feels foolish for those sort of statements when looking at the billions of profit he has left on the table over the last 10 years.
If he had bought just over two years ago at the start of the covid stuff, he would have more than 100% profit even right now today.
Do you really think his outright rejection of that sort of profit (even when we are looking at the market bottoming) shows how "smart" Buffet is?.Comment -
