The Yanks did have a winning record versus the Rays in the regular season. So i wouldn't say they suck. The Rays were lucky that they faced the White Sox in the first round. I don't think they are good enough to be in the ALCS. The ALCS should have been Red Sox vs Angels. It's too bad the ALDS is only best of 5 games. They really ought to change that.Comment -

Honestly Ryan, Rays are done, I said that before they were down 1-0. They played Boston tough in the regular season, but this is the postseason. Rays looked good in the first round because they were playing the White Sox who looked like they didn't even want to be in the playoffs. I mean 2 players from the Red Sox has more playoff at bats then the whole Rays team. Rich, I agree 100%. That was the worst managing I have ever seen in a playoff game. He has two guys warm in the pen and then he lets Beckett go back out to throw another inning of meatballs after the Red Sox just hit 3 homeruns to take the lead back. It was almost like he was trying to let the Rays win. I mean Beckett, who I thought would bring his game, had no command over any pitches and was constantly throwing the ball up in the zone. Ya, so lets leave him in for another inning, maybe he will all of a sudden become the old Beckett. And then Terry seemed to be mad at Lopez when he gave up that hit like it was his fault.
Rays have a pulse but I don't see them having much luck in Boston, they just got to hope to get one of those games so they get to comeback to Tampa.Comment -
