slapshot thanks for responding to my questions. I'm thinking this year might be the opposite of what September usually is. Usually we our + whatever units by the end of August and September we lose some. Maybe this year (variance) September is our month to get those units back that we lost in the previous months (where we were usually up units).

Wild theory kind of, but if you think about it not really. Variance has to kick in at some point (positive variance since we've been down for a while).

i wouldn't be surprised at all if september generate better results than average just for reason you mention.
the thing with previous results for september is that they vary an awful lot.

some years sept has been great....others like last year..top teams (philly last year) has been resting players before playoffs...ending up racking up losses despite being massive favorites.
