The D-Backs season ended when they traded for Adam Dunn in response to L.A.D. trading for Manny.

Dunn sucks ass and Manny is the shit.

they were in first by 4.5 games 11 days ago i think
then webb and haren lost every start they made
if someone out there knew this would happen, then why didnt they bett against them every start out, bc in 4 of those 6 starts, the dbacks were huge faves

                webb was -250 vs sd
                haren was -180 i think

                haren was -180 today
webb was -150 or so at home, vs lad

so im curious who on here bet against them those games

i admit i thought az would win the division, who knew their pen would collapse and webb and haren would collpase

I bet against Haren when he faced Lowe on the 9/05, the Dodgers were -132.

Got ya, I agree, can't predict a collapse by two of the best pitchers in the league. Although, a lot of times guys get tired in late August/early September, and if the D'backs do make it to the playoffs I still don't want to face Haren and Webb four times in a series no matter how poorly they are pitching.

I don't know how Minnesota is doing it, all their pitchers besides Lirano are average at best, and they have an ungodly .312 average with RISP.

I am surprised about Philly just because when the Mets were going through that collapse I didn't see any way they could win with that team, and I thought Philly would win by default.

I disagree there, I'll take Manny over Dunn everyday. Dunn has a .901 career OPS, Manny's is 1.003. Manny is arguably the best hitter in the past 20 years.

Manny is one of the best hitters of this era, Dunn is a strikeout machine.

Arizona still has a chance. The last two days were two devastating losses, though.
