    Saturday Value Plays
    I went 1-1 +0.40 units yesterday.

    Twins -136
Pros: The Tigers are a joke. Verlander has been nothing special this year. They have an awful bullpen. And they are facing the #5 home team in baseball. They are also opposing a very good home pitcher. Take the better team in every category.

    Cons: None.

    Rays/Blue Jays Under 8 -105
Pros: Two of the top bullpens in the majors are meeting in this game. Two very good starters will also be matching up. While James Shields may have a poor road ERA, he was good in his last start in Rogers Centre and seems to pitch well in other dome ballparks. Marcum is a solid home pitcher as well. Finally, both teams do not have very good offenses. Look for this to be a very close, low scoring game.

But they still aren't of the same caliber as a lot of other offenses. They are without Matt Stairs and David Eckstein. Rios and Wells are the only guys who can really hit. Rolen is decent. I like Inglett also.

Haha, right, Eckstein is completely inconsequential.

he is not worth mentioning however, with regards to torontos offense
anybody who replaces him is no worse, and probably a ton better

                Astros -104
Pros: Oswalt has been a beast recently. He is opposing Jeff Francis, who is very overrated. The Astros hit lefties like Francis well. Expect Oswalt and the Stros to bring their A-game to this contest.

Cons: Rockies are good at home.
