I can't lay odds vs. Santana, but I do agree with Cubs.

Wait, you can't lay odds against Santana who rarely pitches a complete game, pitches 7 innings max and has a sh!tty bullpen. .Yet you can lay money on the Cubs with a sh!tty pitcher and a shady bullpen..

The safest pick today is the red sox on the rl or even the -2.5 runline. Olson is hot thrash. Especially on the road and especially against the Red Sox. The red Sox are gonna tear Olsen alive.. Another great pick are the Cleveland Indians in the 1st 5 innings. White Sox takes a while to score and Lee will hold them off for at least 5 innings. I'm not too sold on Richard, the pitcher for the White Sox..

I agree with LT. Fading Santana isn't the wisest thing to do. I also intended playing the Brewers but had to call that off and go for the Cubs.
The Red Sox may win anyways but laying that size of chalk on a baseball game isn't the most advisable of things.
The Indians game is tricky. Richards keeps improving. The Indians aren't scoring right now so the game will be tight and may be decided by the bullpen. Lee is 8-0 at home and something tells me he'll be 8-1 tonight. I think his 20th win of the season will come only after tonight.

I'm sold on Richards. This chap will only keep improving.
Tonight, Lee will go the way of Webb - postpone his 20th win of the season.

Can't bet against Santana as a dog, period. OK, this is actally closer to a Pick, but same concept. Sheets is tough too so a total no touch for me.

Cubs are 51-21 at home and look to snap a rare two-game home losing streak. Oswalt has been brutal at Wrigley in his recent starts there and Marquis has been OK lately.

Not disputing Mets ben is terrible, but you NEVER lay odds vs. an elite starter, and Santana certainly is one. Now normally when two studs face each other, the automatic no-brainer play is to just take the dog, but that doesn't apply here with +100 the best price available.

And I say if they play this game 100 times, each team would go 50-50 so there is no value even laying just -105.

Worst possible reason to bet a game.

Any comments I make are directed to those that want to win long term. If they are recreational bettors that don't care if they lose a bet, then nothing I say matters anyway. (The same thing applies if the person is my wife )

Ryan Braun should just be walked against left-handers...
