Phils/Pads over/under

I'm not touching it. I think the Phillies will hit better, but I'm unsure about the Padres.

the way the phils have been hitting lately and the way the pads hit normally, its way to risky taking the over. Im not touching totals here. Hope you get it though. gl

You have to think about the kidns of pitchers the Phils have been facing. Reineke isn't too great. and neither is Kendrick.

I ended up taking $300 on the phils at -140 and $100 on the over 8.5 at -120 just took the over late thats why the 120 gl everyone

Well I think kendrick is a good pitcher. Most people disagree but I have watched him give the phils a good chance to win in almost all of his outings this year not to mention in his last outing against the pads he only gave up 1 run. That was last year when the pads were a much better team to.

I agree with you on that, but it makes me wonder why the over/under is only 8.5. The oddsmakers don't seem to have a lot of faith in either offense even with these guys on the mound.

You are right about what the lines think. I know the Padres have a terrible offense, but they have a few guys who can hit. Adrian Gonzalez, Brian Giles, Hairston on occasion. If a bad enough pitcher is in, even the Nats can get runs.
