Red Sox -160 vs KC Discussion
Sox a big favorite on the road, no Manny, also I heard Ortiz may be out this game, if Beckett gives up 3 runs can the offense really bail him out here?

    Here's the pitching match up..

    J Beckett - R *9-8, 4.15 ERA* [L3 starts all losses]
    B Bannister - R *7-9, 5.33 ERA [Couple of ND's and losses, not completed a win for 6 starts]

Yeah. Beckett has a better road ERA than home ERA. Also, while Bannister may be pitching at home, he is awful against the Red Sox in his career. I would be very surprised if the Sox lost.

        Score?

If Ortiz is out who will hit though, and Beckett not exactly on the best of stretches.

News flash, Ortiz isn't that good. Was he responsible for any of their runs when he was on the DL? No. Besides, the Royals are an awful team. The Red Sox have a few other bats who can hit; i.e Youkilis, Pedroia, Drew, Bay.

I don't try to predict score. I don't play runlines. I rather just take the easy w than worry about them winning by more than 1.

Sounds like the bitter words of a Yanks (a team Ortiz continually kills) fan to me.

its always good 2 hav some1 say "ortiz isnt that good". Sorry the guy has been injured all year and hes still batting like .280 or w/e it is. if he sits, sean casey will play DH and the order will be shuffled around. Sox win BIG expect something like 7-1 or 8-2 or something.

Well, in that case it sounds like you're expecting say a 5-2 Sox win? If it goes under I see them winning just because I'd expect Beckett to have his hand in it.

                          Red sox win this game.

They had a couple chances to get a good hit and win the game last night in a close 4-3 loss on Underdog day. Now with Josh on the mound there is NO WAY THIS TEAM loses 2 in a row to the royals. Especially with the pennant race getting to close. They snuck away with one last night due to a great inning against an injured, crappy pitcher. Tonight red sox moneyline is the play.

Eat the chalk, digest the winnings.

I'm looking for all three of the AL East leading reps that lost last night to bounce back with wins this evening....

Thats how these pennant races go. Stays neutral towards the end of the season.

                              All 3 should win tonight.

                              Excellent avatar BTW.

Might do KC again tonight. But not sure.

I love Jose Guillen and his insanities.
