jeter's an above avg shortstop w the bat and in the field. he gives a veteran presence and is good when the pressure's on

There was a study done about 2 years ago where they compiled TONS of data on EVERY ball hit to EVERY shortstop in the league.

Jeter ranked SECOND to last (the guy in Texas got last).

Jeter is horrible going to his left.

He is overrated and not an above average fielder (and never was).


With that said, I am very jealous of him. Dude plays baseball, makes tons of cash and has probably gotten more hot trim than all of us put together and more.

If I thought that one player on one team like the Yankees was costing me money each time I bet them, then I might think about either not betting their games at all or maybe fading them day in, day out.
