Cubs and Athletics M/L vs R/L
    All prices from Matchbook:

    Cubs ML is -153
    Cubs -1.5 is +134

    Athletics ML is -184
    Athletics -1.5 is +115

I'm thinking of playing the run line for the Cubs and A's and both prices (especially the Cubs) look interesting. I think both teams will win, so why not take the chance of them winning by more than 1 - especially with two All-Star pitchers going.

I'll actually be against you on the Cubs play. Harang is a solid pitcher and Dempster has been overperforming up until recently this season. I think we begin seeing the real Ryan Dempster from here on out. The Red lineup should be able to get at him tonight.

Harang may be whatever he is but if there was one team I'd pick for a home win, it's the Cubs. The outcome of a game is not all about the starting pitchers. All things considered, the Cubs have the edge here.

The Cubs have no edge tonight. They will lose. Dempster will get hit tonight and be out by the fifth. Harang will work six innings plus tonight and fan about six hits for the Cubs. Reds win 6-2.

Haha these predictions on the Cubs hitting bad at home, and the Reds lighting up the Cubs best money pitcher this year. bold...

I think Dempster get the win and be 10-0 at home after today. At home he got 2.71 ERA with an 1.15 WHIP in 66.1 innings. You need the right stuf to go 9-0 and I think he gonna preforme like this the whole season..
On the road Harang got a 5.20 ERA with an 1.49 WHIP in 53.2 innings. In his last road start he gave up 5 ER @TOR and before that 7 ER @FLA...
Cubs are 33-10 at home vs Reds 17-28 road record

I think they Cubs gonna get to Harang today Cubs RL +120 POD

Im on the Tigers and the Sox, but I have the O's and not the Brewers as Cabrera have been great vs Jays and McGowan have been awfull vs O's

The Reds have also won 7 of the last 9 while the Cubs are 4-6 in their last 10. Dempster also had one of his worst outings at home against this team. He is not as good as his numbers have been nor is Harang as bad. This is a good price for a hot Reds team against a slumping Cubs squad.

The reason for the Cubs 4-6 record is cause they'v been on the road and they as the White Sox are poor road teams (what is it whit Chicago and the road?? lol)

You think that's the only reason? Hmm.

Dempster may not be as good as his numbers but what matters is that he's winning. In sports, you can always do with some luck and that luck should carry him through today. It's easier to go from 9-0 to 10-0 than to 9-1. The edge is with the Cubs.

Really? Tell that to Brandon Webb. It is certainly much harder to go to 10-0.

That's most cause of the lack of run support lately and not the pitching..

                                  Webb isn't in the Cubs.
All things considered, I certainly can't pick a guy who's 1-6 on the road (Harang) over one who's 9-0 (Dempster).
