you pick a west coast team playing an east coast team that plays at least 2, 3 games series , and you basically bet that if team a gets swept 3 games in a series by team b --that the next time these teams meet team a will win at least 1 game in a 3 game series , so when the time of revenge comes you bet say 100 on first game of that series then 200 if the first loses to get your 100 plus your profit back, etc etc so you basically bet 100 g1, 200 g2and 400 g3 and hopefully you didnt lose 700 to try and gain 100 on a 3 game revenge series [ you never know which game will win in the series] plus you might have to put up -118 , -120 -150 , etc to win a 100 so really , you aint losin 100 , your losin more --------make your own picks

ya as for the martingale...it was developed by the french in the early 1800's...they used to do it betting on coin tosses and the theory was that if you lost first coin toss you would have better chance of winning second one, third one, and so on...but it only really works with infinite wealth and proper exponential growth. but in modern casinos theres limitss and short term variance that doesnt really make it a good betting strategy to modern sports...unless you have INFINITE WEALTH...

i think a better modern MLB system would be the Anti-martingale system because it exploits hot streak and downplays loss. its the exact opposite when you are betting good you increase your betting amounts and win more. when you lose a bet you bet less on your next one. and so on...thus u benefit from hot steaks and reduce losing streak losses...

That being said, isn't Martingale the biggest trap to chasing. I've done that, and killed myself.
