    Add:

    3* Red Sox Over 4 Runs -130

Sticking with the Red Sox avatar for today again. Had the Red Sox Over 4.5 Runs yesterday as my big play, taking them again. Shields is bad on the road and his previous game at Boston this year was terrible: 3.2 IP, 10 hits, 7 ER, 3 BB.

These are small units, which I can definitely afford to lose, so don't be too overwhelmed by the card. I'm looking to raise the value of my units, which I'll do soon hopefully.

Anybody have thoughts on these games?

        So far, we have:

        3* St. Louis - Up 4-0 in the 8th
        1* Twins 1st run W
        2* Phillies -1.5 W
        2* Phillies Over 5 P
1* Twins - Down 3-2 in the top of the 8th.

8 Team Parlay is done with the first pick on the list losing.
2 Team Parlay is awaiting the Yankees -1.5 but they are down 3 right now.

Also Adding 4 more units on Boston Over 4 Runs -130: which totals to 9 units on that play.

Spent the night at the Casino playing 2/4 limit hold em. Won about $110 which is decent.

Thread Record: 6-1-1 (+11.90 units) on the day. Included another 1 unit parlay that lost. I think I did my math right? Either way I'm not really into keeping track of these numbers, but I'll attempt it.

Good job today, Deke! Betting Boston to win at home will be $$$ the rest of the year. I am going to be biased every day toward betting the Sox at home.

Thanks St. you had a solid day as well. It's looking like they are getting some injuries and stuff right now so I'm gonna wait a bit but I think I'll be on Boston at home a lot the rest of the year too.

I've started taking team totals on the heavy home favorites to go over, it seems like a solid play each time. I'm looking into that right now. I mentioned it in a phillies thread today that it is 2-1-1 in the last 4 days, which is when I started keeping track. The game scores have been right on the lines in all 4 of them, but I think its worth a shot. The way home teams have been playing this year it seems pretty solid and it is usually between -120 and -140 for these plays. For example tonight, the Braves are solid at home, I didn't take them over their total but they woulda hit. Phillies pushed because Hamels threw a complete game shut out and they didn't need the runs. Boston went over, and the Yankees also went over. That is for the home team favorites that hit well at home today. Would've been 3-0-1 and I'm pretty sure none of the other games would have qualified. Also I wouldn't have included Texas against Sabathia but that would have won. Long story short, my new theory is looking into heavy favored home team total overs, we will see where that goes. Has anyone looked into this? I am looking for any information available on this. Again, solid night tonight.

                  Friday's Plays:

The New System: Currently 2-1-1 since I started.

3* Yankees Over 5 Runs -130 (I don't like this one as well but it qualifies as the top play)

Alternates for the System that I also bet on but will not be graded.

3* Florida Over 4.5 Runs EVEN
                  3* Toronto Over 4.5 Runs -110
                  2* Braves Over 4.5 -115

                  Plays:

                  4* Giants -114
                  2* Florida -126
                  2* Toronto -1.5 (+120)
                  2* Cubs First 5 Innings -110
2* Cardinals First 5 Innings EVEN

No big bet today but not a very good board and I'll be working from 1-10 central time so I can't get the 5th inning lines yet from bodog and I won't get to watch the games. Good Luck today everyone.

There are a few more games that could qualify for the system such as the White Sox and the Red Sox as they are heavy home favorites but I never liked the White Sox's offense, and also Blackburn could pitch either way after getting hit in the head. And I am taking a break from the Red Sox until they are declared healthy. The Tigers could also qualify but they haven't been the greatest this year and they are 9 games below .500, which means they don't qualify. The reason that Florida qualifies even as a low underdog is because they have a decent home record and they have Andrew Miller on the mound who is vulnerable at any time so this game should be high scoring, and Florida should come out ahead.

                      System is now 2-2-1.

                      Friday's record: 2-6
                      Last 2 Days: 8-7-1

Talk about a complete opposite day.

                      Saturdays Plays:

System Play: Avoiding the Yankees although they are the biggest home favorite they are below .500. Also avoiding the Bal/Tor game because it is a low total for the game. It comes down to the Braves, the White Sox, and the Marlins. The Marlins are up against Cincy who has Arroyo on the mound who pitched 7 scoreless innings against Florida in his last meeting with Florida. The White Sox are against Livan Hernandez who threw a complete game against the White Sox previously, allowing only 1 Earned Run. So the play is going to be the Braves against Kendrick who has been successful this season with 8 team wins in his last 10 appearances, but he is at his worst on the road, and this game should be an offensive battle.

                      9* Atlanta Braves Over 4.5 Runs -125

                      Other Plays for Saturday:

                      7* Blue Jays -154
                      4* Tampa Bay/Texas Over 11 -115
                      4* Mariners/Red Sox Under 10 EVEN
                      3* Giants +109

Hopefully a rebound day. Good Luck everybody.
