Uhh I think at one point last year Santana was giving up the most homers

Good memory...33 HRs last year...Gave up over 20 HR 4 years in a row, on pace for a 5th this year with 12 already...

He's usually under 1 baserunner per inning, so the dinger is how he give up many of his runs, especially early in games...

Not sure even the Dodgers would take him deep though....

its a pointless stat though, when you are talking about the best pitcher every year.
so he gives up solo dongs, its misleading and a lousy stat i think

Mets are playing in this game too and Mets bullpen will be in this game at some point...Mets will score another run even if the Dodgers don't.....Not going under...Not a chance...Sorry if you had money on that....

I agree...I don't think dingers means a ton unless you are betting it as a prop.....Some of the best pitchers in the league give up gopher balls...

Kuo is starting to make that look more promising. Gotta worry about what garbage the Mets will bring out of the pen....Santana has about 30 more pitches in him....

He's starting to heat up (6-1 in his last 7 after today)....but I agree....His Cy Young domination days are over. I think the Twins will look like the winners in this trade in 3 or 4 years....
