No runs in 1st inning

Anyone have an opinion on Dodgers Padres? Looks like the tops of the batting orders have had minimal success against the others' starters. Any thoughts appreciated.

Depends on how the laa/sea game goes. Pelfrey is the concern and the giants are a better offense now with sandoval back and in rhythm. However, that time of the night will have shadows between the pitcher and the hitter, so that is a big advantage for the pitcher. Someone put up stats of 10yes vs 4no for that time slot this year, so at least a small play for fun is worthy at this time..

Lilly's whip has been climbing of late. He gives up a lot of hits per inning recently, and his era is too high overall. The only thing going for no as you stated is padres' offense. Might consider betting that the padres score first also as a hedge or instead of.

I went back and checked all the games and also included the TEX/FLA from last Sunday night, where we had two games.

At pinny its gone from -160 at the time jwto posted his picks to about -154 atm if anyone is interested.

justwin, one question, do you weight heavy teams actual recent performance when making your picks (I guess a little bit of gut feeling, how you think things should have played out)? I'm not all that knowledgeable in baseball, but I know sometimes, in some sports anyway, the scores doesnt always reveal the whole story... bad calls, bad bounces, other random flukes and whatnot that might change the outcome of the game

Another, maybe stupid question, for anyone to answer. Am I the only one that have to use these html

There is another thread concerning 1st inning Yes/No bets. From what I can tell the idea in that thread is to bet on the biggest +odds game per start time. If you lose you chase with the next start time, if it wins you start a new chase. I think thread has quite a few people following it. This may be why the SEA/LAA no score odds dropped. Good luck with this game, as I'm no score as well.

this angels mariners ump looks like bad news- haren lighting up the strike zone but theres been maybe 5 pitches in the first 2 batters that were called balls when they were actually strikes.

There you go, the walk then a 2 out hit, and kennedy seems have killed us before, he's clutch in that situation.. maybe jinxed by the "easy" reference.

And the way he did it, he was way out in front and just flicked the bat at the ball, didn't even have a decent cut at it.. man

that ends the night for me... i won with NY, Philly, Det games with no score and I won with MIL-CIN yes score bets before I lost the SEA game... so 4-1 on the day done chasing wins and only lost back some of my profits.

May play it but won't hammer it. I think it will cash but not a normal play. I'd rather hammer a game I like 100% instead of 60%. Of course that did not work today.

Possibly a very small play for fun only, and only because I'm still up a bit today. I like Cain vs Reyes less Mets.. but the juice would have to come down from current levels.. Pelfrey is not worth any more than that.

I had the Tigers/Royals and A's/Rangers today that cashed for me. Rangers are always pumping up runs early making it scary but Cahill has had great history against them both lifetime and this year so I took it at -110.

My two cents:

JWTO is doing a fantastic job with his picks.....exercise GOOD Money Management and you will profit. Act stupid and your gonna get burned. We all want to make money. I have been following since the middle of June and its been very profitable...not nearly as much as some but i don't take huge risks....i like my bankroll to much. i guess what i am saying is don't let his hard work go to waste chasing money you already lost. Not telling anyone what to do...just thought i would throw this out there. good luck to all
