Ya I just read Pinny's rules on baseball for total runs, it has to go 8.5 as well.

Oh well, if the Marlins hang on in the ninth, it will be 3-0-1 in bases tonight, 1-0 in the NBA and 0-1 in the NHL. lol bases and NBA I tailed GG and for the NHL I went out on my own and lost.

My point is Over Under with less than 8.5 innings is not official. I'm just comparing it with ML. .5 inning is the biggest difference that's allowed. The game is 9 innings..If your game gets called after 6, that's 3 innings that's yet to be played, therefore Over Under does not count.

think about how you'd feel if you were on the over (o9), and the game got called in the 6th inning while the score was 5-3.. you'd be upset that there was still "plenty of time to get that last run"

games get called before 9 innings during the course of a season often enough that there would be an advantage to betting the under.

i'd just call it plain bad luck

assuming you're upset because you took the loss for the cubs when it should have been even money since the over hit

Nice hit on BB;tough luck on Cubs over.I can't understand why the books don't payoff an over in an official game, because there is no posibility of an under, and return the under plays because that particular game could have stayed under. Just seems to make sense to me.

Just an fyi.... If cinci survived the 19th..they most likely would have scored in the 20th

philly ran out of pitchers to use and had their utility infielder that had never pitched a game in his life pitch in the top of the 19th

votto missed a homer by 5 feet and the next 2 idiots both swung for the fencesand ended up with pop outs

im sure he wouldnt have been so lucky in the 20th
