      Twins +135

The twins are 4-1 when Hernandez is pitching. The bats give him run support when he is on the mound. Both pitchers have almost the exact ERA but the team seems to score when Hernandez pitches...
If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

I have a natural instinct to exploit market ineffieciencies!!

          977 Minnesota Twins +135

Livan Hernandez held one of the most potent lineups, the Tigers', to just one run over seven innings in his last start.

              San Diego Padres +156

previous post of the mets is off... i seen that it wasn't an option.. i got them at +110 earlier but its not on there...

The padres up against the braves. Wolf (2-1, 3.57) looks to help them get on the right track. He pitched well enough for a win in his last outing Thursday at Philadelphia, where he limited his former team to two runs and struck out nine in six innings.

At this point, there aren't a lot of teams that I wouldn't take the Cubs at > +120 against. They've been slumping a bit, but they've got big bats and (for the most part) quality pitching. Ramirez is back today, and CIN hasn't been scoring too much lately either.
By the end of the second, I'm already hoping that I lose this one, because the only real money I put on the game was on the under.

                  Twins +135

Why: Crazy value for a 4-1 pitcher facing a 1-3 pitcher. Chicago had a good outing last night but I don't trust them to repeat it. Minnesota is the best play here.

                                    Cleveland Indians +131

I'm a bit shocked that I'm the only one playing this so far but I have to go with the hottest pitcher in baseball tonight. Without Posada and A-Rod, the Yankees began to struggle at the plate. For the last few games, they've started scoring again. However, they are facing a pitcher in Lee who has been absolutely lights out. Although I don't have a great deal of confidence in the Indians bats at the moment and I actually played the under FF instead, I think this line is a bit inflated. Good value for the best pitcher in baseball up to this point in the season...

I heard it was Zito-like numbers. Something like $4 million per post. Staggering.

Not to say your performance is anything like that of Barry's, however, LT.

St Louis are on a 3 game win streak and Colorado have lost 2 in row. Wainwright(STL) is on the mound tonight with a lower era than Francis(COL). I like STL against any left hander with a high era in Colorado. Should be many runs scored also.

Garza's performed much better in his 2 outings since a stint on the DL. Marcum's a very capable young pitcher in his own right, but the Jays' offense is struggling to score, particularly in Marcum's recent starts, in which he's received a total of 4 runs of support over his L3 appearances.

dumatrait for pitt may be worst starter in league; last year in 6 starts in cinn had 15.00 era and this year in last 3 outings he pitches 4 innings 4 runs,4innings 2 runs, 2innins 2runs.

I'm not really 100% confident in Roy Oswalt's mechanics so far. I'm not confident that he's anywhere close to mid-season shape. The Astros hitting has been sub-par in my opinion, and Oswalt's team has a 3-3 record against the Astros. Perez's team record is 0-5, and I have to believe he knows that. Hopefully that will motivate him to pitch lights out tonight against a poor hitting Astros team.

For the snakes, Micah Owings, although he pitched well early on, has given up 12 runs in 10 2/3 innings over his last two starts. The Phillies' Kyle Kendrick, on the other hand, has been pitching pretty well, and the Phillies have won in his last three starts. The Phillies are a good team, hitting well, and they have better momentum right now than the D'Backs.
