Notes: Go figure the unofficial (A) bet wins again. I'm posting tonight because I got called into work tomorrow. I don't have the current rpi for the (B) bet tomorrow but the series is official. It will definitely be a R/L bet. Tampa is a heavy fav. I actually think Bergeson is due for a win but don't take my word for it. GL all.

#2213Thanks Wallco. Great "D" win.
Lost on the pre-emtive V3 though, put it on Cleveland -1.5 instead of m/l by mistake.
Oh well, will pay more attention next time.Comment -

Ok, so the unofficial WINS (by losing by 1 on the run line), & therefore there's no v3 on Cleve. tomorrow? or did Seat. have to win outright to qualify? Can't seem to decipher that from pg. 1, post 9. Never ran into that situation before that i recall. Irregardless, the FADE people also won on Cleve. on Friday.
Also, as i've mentioned before, for those who follow the original sys. (.010 filter), Balt. was a no play on friday @ .013 rpi below Tampa, & could possibly go higher than the .015 filter on Sat. Can't imagine what JM would say if Balt. lost the series. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. (2 of the 4 losses last year could have been avoided if the 1st games of those series, that were higher than .010 below their opponent, hadn't been played to begin with).
Didn't mean to confuse anyone, just continue to follow the current, updated sys. as it is laid out, if ya wish. You'll get more plays anyways.
Update: Balt. is now @ .019 below Tampa.Comment -

Notes: Here's an update. I forgot to score the (A) bet loss above. jphil you are right, there is no V3 bet on CLE. They actually won the game and SEA also won the bet if you played it R/L by Morrison's rules. Some people are playing his bets M/L on the underdog. And also you are right about the rpi. What we're doing here is scoring JM's official plays and if the rpi goes below the recommended level and the bet loses we will score it as a loss even though JM won't. Here's what JM has to say:
First, I just wanted to fix a small typo in yesterday's email.
I said that we are 3-0 to start the MLB season, but I was
selling ourselves short! We are actually 4-0 to start the
MLB season after the Mets win a few days ago. Here's a recap:
Current betting record for the 2011 MLB season: 4-0
426 Milwaukee won [b]
504 LA Angels won [C]
506 Tampa Bay won [A]
509 NY Mets won [A]
Last night, we cashed in on the unofficial bet, despite our
team being one of the worst teams in the league, and playing
on the road against the very best! I have no doubt that we'll
cash in on the official one as well, so let's get to it baby!

#2226Since I first posted this system on here, chase betting these series has produced +31.9 units of profit on finished series (+24.9 counting the Colorado open series). The system from the start is at +52 units. I was just curious, how have the labby bettors been doing up to this point. Was interested in a quick comparison if you don't mind.
I have been using a 4 line 40% Labby line, a slightly less aggressive version of labby and its going well.
The A and B bets take awhile to clear but every now and then we hit a good run on them and the lines have cleared pretty comfortably without getting too high.
I was honest with myself at the start that I don't have the balls to make C and D bets on a straight up chase so for me i'm more comfortable with a labby, but i'd say right now i'm not up as many units as you.
I like the fact this system mixes in plus odds which have actually been hitting at a fairly respectable rate, also nice not to have been playing big favs.
Either way I think everyones doing good so far with it.Comment -
