I'll try to explane why i pick what i pick, but it depends on how much time I have on the day with my picks.

Today I go for 3 parlays:

    Dbacks-1.5/Braves-1.5
    $40 to win $139.81
I think the Giants have a chance to win and Zito gona get his first win soon, but I like Webb at home too much.
Smoltz should get another win. He is great at home and the Nationals struggles and I dont like too pick them until June/July.

    Marlins/Astros
    $20 to win $99.84
Marlins plays great baseball right now. I think they gona start loosing soon, but they are in a good flow right now so..
I never thaught I was gona bet against Peavy, but Astros is strong at home, they beat the Padres big-time yesterday and I don't like Peavy as much on the road as at home..

    Reds/Phillies
    $40 to win $160.18
The Dodgers was great at bat yesterday, but against Volquez I think it's back to one run a game or top two.
Before yesterdays game i was thinking a split series between the Phillies and Rockies, but that was on Rockies yesterday(cause of Kendrick and the long trip) and the Phillies today.
Well, i'll go away from the split and pick the Phillies today. Myers is pitching great(he got a 4-0 record at Coors Field) and the Phillies is HOT at bat. Utley are going for the MVP this season and im guessing a HR on him and one on either Burrell or Howard. I also think the Phillies bullpen was great yesterday and think they gona take that intoo this game

        Phililes (Hamel) -1.5 runs
Phillies win big tommorrow as Hamel goes to the mound against Dave Bush. Brewer bullpen had to go extra innings today and may be vulnerable agaisnt a hot hitting phillies team. Hamel has not lost back to back start since April 2007.
Here is your winner for tommorrow.

By the way I am a Phillies fan too (although the Jays are my #1 team, the Phils are the team I cheer for in the NL).
They are looking really good so far, and playing well without Rollins.

I may take that one. It looks like a good pick.

                  Padres/Indians
                  $40 to win $104
                  Pardres:
                  - First a easy 1. Maddux is a bether pitcher than Cain.
                  - I think the Padres gona be strong home this year, they just got of too a little rough start with 5-5. Giants shouldn't get many wins on the road.
                  - The Padres bullpen have a WHIP on 1.31 at home and their bullpen is way bether then they have been so far this season.
                  - Cain's ERA on the road is 8.67 against the Maddux 4.50 at home.
                  - The Padres are finaly getting some runs now and I think that will continue agains the Giansts
Im not betting on it, but this should be a U9 runs

                  Indians:
                  - Royals are 1-6 when playing against a team with a losing record.
                  - Carmona is 3-0 when starting against KANSAS CITY with an ERA of 2.38 and a WHIP of 1.235
                  - The Royals pitching was of to a GREAT start this season, but now it's atleast close to "crap".
                  - The Indians won 15-1 yesterday against them and I think they'll take that batting into this game. I got a feeling on a 4-5 game winning streak for the Indians now(what u guys think?)

                  Cardinals/Mets
                  $50 to win $150
                  Cardinals:
                  - The Pirates usualy gives up a lot of runs and i can't see the Cards give up more than max 3 runs againt the Pirates with their strong bullpen lately.
                  - Wellemeyer is locking stronger and stronger each game and throws efficiency this year. He also got an ERA of 1.50 against them.
                  - The Cards are 6-1 after a loss
                  Against:
                  - The Cards may miss Encarnacion, but I think they'll do well since I can't see the Pirates get a back to back win

                  Mets:
                  - Santana had a great game against the Phillies his last start. He got 10 K's and 0 walks. He also had a great command.
                  - The Mets got a 3 game losing streak and I can't see a team like them getting another against the Nats + I can't see the Nats getting a back to back win either. Mets ar 1-0 after 3 consecutive losses.
                  - The Mets are 3-0 against the Nats this season and Readding isn't that good home as he is on the road( ).

                  Phillies -1.5
                  $60 to win $126
I got 4 reasons for this pick:
                  - The Phillies are hot at bat, before yesterdays game Utley had a 4 game HR streak
                  - I think Bush gona struggle against a red hot at bat Phillies
                  - The Brewers bullpen may be some weaker after the extra inns against the Cardinals yesterday
                  - Hamels havn't lost a back to back game since April 07 (thanks for the info "tab" )

                  I got two minors against:
                  - Hamels struggles a bit at Millers Park
                  - Phillies got a 3 game winning streak and two of them on the road against the Rockies. Can't see the streak go much over 5-6

I also got 3 picks that I like but gona stay away from:
Cubs, they are red hot right now and the got a 4-2 road record against Rockies 3-5 at home.
Hill got a bether start to the season than Morales and I think it will show here.

White Sox, he Yanks won the first game after a grand slam, but the Sox had a good chance to get a win before that.
They drow in 5 runs and I think they can get the same against Mussina, but the Yanks gona struggle against Vazques who got a good start to the season.

Jays, I like the pitching matchup between Halladay and Hammel. I think Halladay is a good pitcher but shouldn't throw more than 7-7 1/2 innings. Thats the reason i'll stay away from this one cause im not shure if the Jays gona use their bullpen or go for a 9 inns on Halladay. Also the Jays need their offense to step up more than they did yesterday

                        Cubs
                        $40 to win $91.6

                        Cubs@Rockies O10

                          Also adding todays first parlay:

                          A's/Indians -1.5
                          $30 to win $102

A's: I think this gona be a close game, but I just like the A's at home today. Im hoping they can ride on their win last night
Indians: I love the pitching matchup. Royals are down right now and they gona stay down for a while. Tomko was of to a good start this season, but I think he gona get some though games for a while now. I didn't like what I saw from Tomko last game and Carmona has been great. Don't think the Indians batting gona slack of too much from the big game yesterday and the Royals should not get more than max 3 runs today... My prediction: 8-2 Indians in game 1

                              Fridays Pick:

                              Reds/Twins
                              $20 to win $75
Reds:I think Harang is a good pitcher who I can set some money on agains a avg. team without probs. The Giansts have had some good games lately, but today it should be back to normal..
Twins: I have fate in Blackburn today and the Rangers pen is horrible so far. The Twins got blown-out by the A's yesterday so they will give all they have to bounch back.. This may be a big Twins win today, or??

                              Phillies/Angels
                              $30 to win $112
Phillies: Ok... The Pirates usualy gives up alot of hits and runs against avg. teams, the Phillies getting a lot of hits and runs lately... This should be a blow-out, but its baseball..
Angels: I think E. Santana gona get a great season this year and a lot of wins (and a GREAT ERA), Robertson is of to a horrible start and I can't see it stops against a good Angels team (been wrong befor ). The Tigers have been playing some good baseball lately, but they usualy have one good game and one bad so im not sold on them yet..and they had a good game yesterday so..

Well thats all so far... Good luck all

                                $40 to win $80
A's: Eveland is ALOT better than Batista right now.
                                Eveland got a 2.45 road ERA with 3 ER, 6 walks and 8 K's in 11 inns.
                                Batista got a 7.20 home ERA with 4 ER, 2 walks and 1 K in 5 inns.
Also the A's pen is alot bether with a 3.45 road ERA in 33.7 inns against Mariners 6.19 home ERA in 32 inns.
The A's had a great game/1st inning yesterday and they should get alot of runs today too agains a struggeling Batista and Mariners pen. Eveland and the good pen should hold the Mariners to 2-4 runs while the A's should get around 7-10 runs

Want to see what u guys think about this game if u have time..

I'm on the other side but good luck anyways. With Putz back and throwing well I think it gels the Seattle bullpen and I'm pretty sure the Mariners are tough on lefties.
                                  We shall see.

Batista doesn't have control on his pitches at all so far in 1st inning... If this continue and he stays in for 4-5 more innings this gona be ugly.

Update: Now he also walks inn a run..Doesn't look good for u so far... it's early tho
