    Best of 3 series odds
Best of 3 game series odds look : will show the fav odds here .

    EDIT SHOWING SCENARIOS
Mets at Phils -120 phils trying to avoid sweep
Nats at Marlins -150 rubber game
Brew at Reds both -115 reds trying to avoid sweep
-120 Dodgers at Braves dodgers trying to avoid sweep
Rockies at Astros -155 astros trying to avoid sweep
Giants at Cards -180 rubber game
Padres at DBacks -180 pads trying to avoid sweep

    Tigers at BJays -130 is 4 game series , first 3 count . game 3 of 4 tied 1 - 1
-190 Yanks at Os yanks trying to avoid sweep
Rangers at RSox -300 (makes me want to take Dice tonight) is 4 game series , rangers trying to avoid 3 losses in a row in Bos
WSox at DRays -130 rubber match
-120 Indians at Twins rubber match
Royals at As both -115 royals trying to avoid sweep
Mariners at Angels -180 mariners trying to avoid sweep

if you wager game one and your big lock loses , usually they win the next day and this is a way to get around things like that ... at least 8 teams will be trying to avoid the sweep come sunday .
That means 8 of these no brainers (may be) just that for the first 2 games with your BEST team getting it done winning ( fri and sat) .

These matchups might not be the best , but you may find something you like . gl

teams that lost tonight that look to be the most probable to be trying to avoid losing 3 in a row on sunday are ? if I try and name 10 here they are . am freestylin here , no study , nothing more than lil experience and gut with this .
    EDITED TO SHOW RESULTS :
    NL:
    Pirates >> made the list
    Astros >> made the list
    Marlins >> dodged it
    Giants >> dodged it
    Padres >> made the list
add : Phils >> made the list

    AL:
    BJays >> dodged it
    Twins >> dodged it
    Rangers >> made the list
    DRays >> dodged it
    Mariners >> made the list

can simply work where the better team forces the weaker into trying to avoid the sweep on sunday . so you write it down in your notebook ... these teams I have listed make that category all year long ... maybe they do this weekend .

originally had Reds instead of Giants typed in , still there are 6 of the possible 11 teams I listed above trying to avoid the sweep on sunday , not even close to nailing it .
Altogether 10 teams fall in this category sunday as somewhat predicted . One not listed above is the highest payroll team in baseball . the other team I didn't list was the Royals (the biggest one by sterotype that we all are used to listing and seeing in this category year after year ) Dodgers and Reds are the other 2 not listed above .
I could of come very close to nailing the whole NL using this strategy , would have missed the Nats .

Yanks chances on sunday ? pretty darn good I'd say .

Yanks have been in the tryin to avoid the sweep category twice already this year and won both times , once at home over TB , the other time at the Royals .
Pettitte was the starter avoiding at the Royals . ( 6 - 1 Ny )

Yanks should make it 3 times avoiding getting swept on sunday and make Steve feel like retiring .
Yanks will get off early on sunday , score 3 in 1st inning .

of the 10 teams trying to avoid the sweep on sunday , only 3 are home teams . reds , astros , phils .
all 4 in the american leauge are away teams .
not that this helps but it can be formulated to produce something
if you play with it enough .

I'd predict it on here but then it may influence what you would come up with yourself .
I see only 3 teams avoiding the 3 game sweep . 4 at the most , what do you see .

Reds , Dodgers , Yanks avoid the sweep , sorry I couldn't help it .
7 - 3 is a lopsided (SWEPT) finish but is a common occurence all year long .

In contrast to my strategy and way of thinking above , last sunday 6 of the 8 teams AVOIDED THE SWEEP . (sunday before it was 6 of 10 were swept)
GL , fade me if you think I'm late or in opposite land (this can hit and be perfection just like it can land on a whammy where it's all opposite , doubt it though)

add : forgot about Padres , (made corrections) makes it 10 teams trying to avoid getting swept , pretty tight huh .

see edit above in first post to see the scenarios , you might get lucky !

GL Chipski, im on the Mariners to avoid the sweep, despite the fact there 3-13 in last 16 in Anaheim. Ill take my chances with Batista against Moseley, good value in my opinion.

I like it . Fade Randy every game later in the year , esp when its hot and humid . We will see his skin look like its falling off . haha

play against the perfect 3 - 0 situation here

2 NL teams have avoided the sweep with ONE NL team remaining , the play is go against Philly here .

all 3 NL home teams avoid the sweep today ? most likely wont happen .

result > i was wrong , mets won and all 3 nl teams avoided the sweep ..
