Betting on a road team after so many innings Question ?
Has anyone ever had any success betting against a team on the road the very next night ( or day,) after playing so many innings like Col or San Diego ? Or maybe even betting the unders in these games ? thanks in advance B.

I have a couple of team total bets that I like.

Padres team total under 4 runs (-120)
Danny Harren pitched lights out to start 2007 with the A's with little run support and now has run support with the diamond backs. Harren has pitched twice against the padres and has era around 2. THe padres are the worst team ever under the lights in night games. The padres are hitting about 200 and have scored the fewest runs in night games. I think they are having difficulty at the plate in the twilight as day turns into night. I would not bet on total game under. I would be concerned with the padre bullpen that is a little thin.

Astros team total over 4.5 runs
This is a lot of runs needed by the 8th inning. If the rockies starter gets knocked out early, it could be a long day for the Rockies bullpen. The rockies played two and half games in less than 7 hours. They used up everyone in their bullpen. Pressure is going to be on the rockies starter to go at least 6 innings.

This hurts SD a lot IMO since they have to face an ace starter in Haren and the Dbacks are a better team than the Astros

I believe a low scoring event early. Should get juicy around the 7th as Maddox tires and the rattlesnakes start rattling their tails.

Pete, you and I are on the same wavelength. That is PRECISLY why I went with the Dbacks instead of the Strohs. I wanted to exploit the exhausted Padres or Rockies and looked at who each was playing. Had to go with Haren.

Looks like they will all come out scoring right off the bat.
