    Investing In Baseball (2008)
Lets try this again. I wanted to start a year long thread and not a month long one. Going to do baseball, the way that im comfortable. Its from a world that im very comfortable with, the trading and investing world. I believe you will find these numbers to be 100% accurate.

    3/31 Initial Investment: ($5,000)
    4/1 Current Investment Value: ($4,700)(-6%)
    Alt RL: 0-6 (-$300)
    Trades: 0-0 ($0)

    Trades for tuesday april 1

    Trade 1) angels (-1.20) $30 to win $25
play on the angels to win one. prepared to go (5-6) deep.

    Trade 2) Yanks Over 9 (+1.00) $50 to win $50
Play on the Yanks to go Over the posted total. prepared to go (4-5) deep.

the (0-6) record came on march 31 and will stay in the record all season. I was going to try something but im not comfortable with it. The baseball trades will be a part of my overall investment strategy.

If i lose the ($5,000) im done with baseball this season.

    Good Day Gentlemen.

please change "trade" to bet or wager. calling a hooker your gf, doesn't mean she is.

if i lose half of my bankroll, ill change it, for now, it stays.

i had to ditch the thing i did yesterday (alt runline). i had no proof of any success with it. i dont throw my money on a whim. Lets just ease into this baseball season and keep an eye on the bottom line.

My goal is to come out of april on the plus side and then get a nice return on my ($5000) investment.

Unlike many here, i have no dreams of doing this for a fulltime income. I however, do think you can capitalize on this market and earn a good return on your investment.

If by seasons end, my $5000 investment is sitting at $7000 or more, ill consider it a big success. (40%) is not too shabby. I figured this money could sit in a CD and earn (4%) or less or i could put it to use.

This season is way too long to start bickering. Lets just let the games play out.

Ive had the conversations in the "Sports Investments" thread, for (9-10) days now. They are getting quieter with each day.

      Good Day Gentlemen.

                      this thread is now over.

Ill return in a few days, when i have another project to offer.

when i return, ill post my complete baseball record, in this manner..

                      08 Alt R/L: 0-6 (-$300)

                      08 Chase System 1: 2-2 (with the 2 suspended) (-$488)

the chase system was also reflected in a thread i had going in the main forum. the total loss on the chases was (-$157), so i was actually ahead in other sports.

No excuses. i lost $788 in baseball and when i return, it will show in my record.

                      Good Day Gentlemen.
