    MLB Investments (April 2008)
    Initial Investment: $5,000

    Plays for monday march 31

    1. Blue Jays -1.5 (+2.15) $50 to win $107

    2. Baltimore -1.5 (+2.25) $50 to win $112

    3. Texas -1.5 (+2.60) $50 to win $130

    4. Twins -1.5 (+2.45) $50 to win $122

    5. Brewers -1.5 (+1.90) $50 to win $95

    6. Giants -1.5 (+2.60) $50 to win $130

    7. Cards -1.5 (+1.85) $50 to win $92

    8. Houston -1.5 (+2.35) $50 to win $117

all wagers are on the alternate runline and played at the greek. i do have accounts elsewhere but i wanted to turn these in tonight. $400 invested out of a $5000 initial investment.

I guarantee you that you have not seen baseball wagered in this manner (ever). that does not mean that it will be profitable.

I never lose much money on any invesment, so if its not profitable, ill cut it off early. If it is profitable, its going to be one great summer. Big success for me, if i can make a nice return on my $5000 investment in MLB 2008.

I wont go into what im doing, lets just say it involves a little of everything. From Power Ratings to a Very Small Chase aspect.

Lets see if we can run this thread thru the end of april and see how things look. Hang on to your hats.
    Good Day Gentlemen.

Thanks man but i havent really said anything about, what im doing.

here are some tidbits, for anyone looking in.

      1. Risk will be held to a minimum. Contrary to what some may think here, im very good at managing risk.

      2. If this does not work, the plug will be pulled. This is on the cutting edge.

      3. The teams are selected, based on a "Power Rating System" that will improve as the season progresses (if we dont get killed in the beginning).

      4. Its also not what you may think.

      Good Day Gentlemen.

for this particular system (investing idea), the risk will be either (1 unit) or (2 units).

but to answer your question. ($10 and $20) would work.

                yes.

                frustrating day so far.

0-3, with the great eric gagne blowing it for the brewers and the rainout in stl, with a (5-1) lead. no homer for pujols, boys.

Good Luck on your system I wish you the best.

Last MLB season I tried a trial system and used only runline -1.5. Also, only 1 play per day using a very filtered criteria. There were sometimes more than 1 team that fit, but I always used the best fit to place my wagers. I made a net $6,200. Each play was $100 flat bet and started in April(first week of regular season) and ended Sept 29. Win ratio was around 66% for the season and the average odds were above +100 for season average. I definitely believe that there is money to be made using runline though it is an unpopular opinion.

                  Again.....Good Luck!

No wins yesterday. Its a very long season and ive invested $5,000 into this season.

I reserve all rights to invest this money as i see fit.

                        3/31 Initial Investment: $5,000
                        4/1 Current Value: $4700 (-6%)

                        ALT RL Record: 0-6 (-$300)

I think that im going to ease into this. I do not like to lose money, either trading or betting. yesterday was a very bad day. Losing (6%) of your starting bankroll in one day is bad, people.

Im going to decide how to handle things today. Ill be back tonight in this thread to list the plays.

Nothing matters to me, except the return on my investment. Not followers, not proving a system right. Only the bottom line. Ill keep a legit and current (P/L) sheet for the MLB season, right here but how i invest my money, is my own personal business.

back this afternoon with tonights investments.

                        Good Day Gentlemen.

current record is posted just above.

Ive got a thread entitled "Sports Investments", thats been running in the main room here since march 23. Im going to just merge my baseball into that thread.

This thread will run, just the same. Record for baseball will be kept intact.

SBR MLB: 0-6 (-$300) alt runline plays.

I use the term "Trades" and will use this for baseball.

                          Trades for tuesday april 1

                          Trade 1) Angels (-1.20) $30 to win $25
bet on the angels to win one, im prepared to go (5-6) deep with this.

                          Trade 2) Yanks Over 9 (+1.00) $50 to win $50
play on the Yanks to go over the total.

                          always listed pitchers.

                          Good Day Gentlemen.
