See over a 162 game schedule the pretenders are almost always weeded out. It works that way in life.

In bases if you cant win on the road you will pay the price eventually.

Braves34-44 away.

Cards 31-46 away

Rockies 31-45 away

Rangers 35-41 away

These teams were all good at home all year long but didnt have the intestinal fortitude to win games in tough situations on the road and thats why they all will come up with nothing. Fortunately for the Rangers they still get another shot but it wont amount to much.


These are the only teams that have a shot to win the whole thing

Rays
Yanks
Phils
Reds


Giants and Padres are hon mentions.

Last year the Phils had only Cliff Lee to pitch and get the tough outs...BTW he stuck it up the Yanks ass going 2-0 in the series.. Phillies had nobody else.. Hammels was a bum last year and they didn't have oswalt or halladay..
