Yeah, I'm 95% sure the Bravos take this tomorrow, but I never take on chalk like that in MLB SU. I was going to put them in a 0.5x parlay with the Reds, Rox, Giants, and the TOR/BAL over...but I kind of gapped it.

Would also lean on the under in this one but would prefer the Braves ML if the juice wasn't so high. They have to win to have a chance of staying close to the Phils. Best of luck.

Braves pitching really sucks lately and Heyward is the only thing they have on offense. I would not bet the Braves moneyline to save my life.Also, I don't think they are a good bet for the under today. Even though everything points to the under the Braves will not be shutout 2 games in a row at home. Furthermore, Jurgens only got through 5 yesterday. The Braves had to use bullpen more than they would have liked yesterday. So, they will be trying to get 7 atleast out of Minor. I don't see him getting through seven without giving up atleast 4 runs. I see this one creeping over with a 4-5 game going either way.

I like the under too, there we're back to back dominanat pitching performances in this series with lowe on monday and livan yesterday, something tells me minor will show up big this game for them and hold the nats to only a run or 2. braves also really need this one to keep up with the phils and halladay today so the braves aren't a bad pick with the ml either.

Anybody have the trend for day games on the O/U? Seems like a good % go Under. If dunn doesnt play like they are saying (Rest) also along with someone from the braves being rested, I will hit the under.

I like Lannon, I feel like he is Nationals Ace. But I do not like this Minor kid. Gives up alot of hits and can easily give up 4-5 runs thru 5 innings.

Minor has an ERA of 10.00 in his L2 Septembers starts. BTW, Over is 5-0 in National's last 5 road games vs. a left-handed starter!!! What I like here is Braves TT UNDER 4.5. But I think the Nationals will win this game and it could go Over.

Not the best pitching matchup, but both Lannan and the aforementioned Minor recently had decent to good starts against their respective opponents:

Lannan pitched 5.1 innings in Turner Field on August 19th, giving up two runs on seven hits. The Nats won this one, 6-2.
Minor went 6 strong, also allowing 2 runs on August 17th.

I think the Braves win this one, but I'm not willing to pay the juice.

What do you guys think?

I was on a brewers game last week where I had the Under 9, and there was 7 runs already scored tru 3 innings. I still managed to push.

The good thing about Atlanta making this a 3 run game, is that we will see the set up guy and closer for Nationls assuming this stays the same. I would of hated for this game to be a 5-6 run lead where both teams throw their bum RP out there that have 10.00 ERAs cause the game doesntmatter anymore.

Minor has pitched well except for the one huge mistake.
BUT that was one huge mistake letting a nobody - 8 hitter in the order - hit a grand slam!

update: Braves desperate for a win.
They just pulled him for PH to lead off the 5th!
